High quality and genuine service! I called Nate due to my lamp not working, and he was very transparent about the potential cost/service that would be required if I brought the lamp in, but before we went down this path, he walked me through what the issue could be and step-by-step process to fix it myself over the phone, at no charge... and it worked! Nate was excellent. He went far above and beyond to repair my tricky existing pendant lights. Once determined that parts needed were no longer available anywhere he apologized and didn't charge me. Highly recommend for light repair and sales — he knows his stuff.

Super pleased with service. Had an old ceiling fan with stained glass lights that shorted out. Couldn't find a replacement and really loved the light so thought we would give this service a try. We dropped off and got back our light a few days later. Price came in under bid and have reinstalled light with no issues. Thank you so much, Nate!

Bottom line: fantastic customer service! I learned they do mostly commercial work with awesome industrial/steam-punk looking fixtures, they still do the simple, yet needed, work of fixing lamps. I walked in with my lamp and they were able to fix it while I waited! While I’m told many folks have to wait, I guess I lucked out, the repair was top notch with a one year warranty!

I give Fixt Electric my highest praise!
I had to have a light fixture modified to work in my house. This required some custom metal work. Two parts had to be machined. To resolve this I spent a day trying:
O’Brien Auto Parts - No
Home Depot - No
Central Lock - No
Ace Hardware - No
TC Automotive - No
People were suggesting lighting specialist in St. Paul and out in the burbs but after some web searching I found Fixt Electric right here in NE Minneapolis. The shop is filled with cool retro light fixtures. There was no wait and they used some unorthodox but effective techniques to machine

We absolutely love our Red Regina light from FIXT Electric! We host quite a bit and get compliments on it almost every weekend. It's rustic yet refined look really adds life, character, and a good vibe to our living room. Nate and his team did a fantastic job restoring 2 vintage lamps I brought in that needed a lot of love. They even fabricated some replacement parts and matched them to the original tone of the metal. A+ work and super friendly. I would highly recommend them!
