Services
We are McVea Insulation owned by Rachel and Kris McVea, a small local family owned business located in Omaha, Nebraska. Our family's insulation company was the first fiberglass insulation company in Omaha opening in 1936 by Kris's great-great Uncle Turner Carlisle. The business has serviced the Omaha and Midwest area for generations offering high quality services and products with impeccable customer service and reliability.
Not all homes are equipped with adequate attic insulation and it is critical because in the heating season heat travels through your home and up to the ceiling exiting through gaps in the attic. This is called temperature stratification. Adding insulation and sealing gaps and cracks with foam stops this from happening.

I haven't had additional insulation installed in my attic for at least 35 years and let me tell you.. it was barely above the ceiling rafters. I called a few insulation contractors and the one I had years before isn't in business anymore so I saw that McVea insulation had the Carlisle name by it and remembered the name from years ago so I called Mcvea insulation and gave them the measurements of the square footage of the attic and they gave me a bid over the phone. It seemed reasonable to me and they could do it within a week and that convinced me right away to go with them, and I'm glad I did

Can't recommend McVea Insulation enough. Called late on a Thursday afternoon to set up an inspection and Kris was out the next day by lunch time. He quickly diagnosed the issue we were having, gave us a quote before he left, and offered to come back the next day to do the work.
The job went great - Kris laid down a barrier to protect our carpet while he was inside and cleaned up afterwards when he was done. The job was done efficiently, on time, and once the job was done, Kris took the time to show us pictures of the completed work and explain exactly what he did.
Very friendly, professional
