After coming across solid surface while installing residential countertops in 2004, Jon Taylor, president of Lycos, discovered his passion. He began attending trainings around the country learning how to fabricate solid surface and started performing the work out of his garage. In 2007, he decided to take a risk and left residential construction to rent a warehouse property in Iowa and start Lycos, Inc.
We currently have installation crews in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney, and Des Moines that take on projects across Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and South Dakota. Don't see your city? Don't worry.
