SD Air Quality was hired for routine dryer duct cleaning. Several weeks later moisture started accumulating/bubbling on the laundry room ceiling. A plumber was hired to investigate the source and discovered a disconnected portion of the duct, which lead to condensation building up, until it leaked through the ceiling drywall.
Part of the service the technician *performed* was inspecting the dryer duct for proper connection. This service is also spelled out on the invoice provided from SD Air Quality. When I reported the issue to SD Air Quality and requested reimbursement for

I contacted SD air quality by e-mail for an estimate for a dryer vent installation. They sent out two guys, they took measurements, asked for my e-mail address, and said the office would send an estimate. After ten days with no response I e-mailed the company asking if they were still interested in the job. No response. Very unprofessional!

I write this review because I am glad they were willing to come when it was very hard to do in the middle of a pandemic last December.
They appeared professional and wore shoe covers on the way in,
And did a diligent job too at cleaning the vents. And also helped us diagnose and answer some HVAC related questions.
Though my only disappointment is that a gash was torn in the duct following their cleaning , which was ok before their service. Resulting in no blowing air coming out of the vents downstairs(we have two zones in the house) while my energy bills skyrocketed as the furnace was heating

Our 30 year old AC went out during the heat wave. Another company came out and told us the issue wasn't fixable and that we need a completely new unit.
Deciding do get a second opinion we contacted SD Air Quality. We communicated with Jonathan who responded to our inquiry very quickly! He was able to get someone out to us within just a couple of days -we know that with this crazy heat it must've been a very busy time for them, but they still managed to squeeze us in. So grateful!

I have been using SD Air quality for the past 7 or 8 years. Jonathon and his crew have been nothing but true professionals. The office manager Balinda has been keeping us up to date with all available dates and times to make sure they meet our needs. Jr the tech has been to a few of my houses now and is always on time and professional. We decided to have them add the new "iwave" to keep the kids safe from the Covid19, and just give my wife and me peace of mind.

I called they were easy to work with to set an appointment.
Day of I received a call 20 min before they arrived and the 2 technicians were masked and booties on prepared and ready to go! And were exactly on time - I think they were waiting outside until 8am precisely.

These people were fabulous. Our vents hadn't been cleaned in years . They did a great job . We had a time window of 11-2 and they showed up at 11 . And when we asked them about cleaning our dryer vent . They said no problem and took care of it in minutes . They were courteous and friendly . Would definitely recommend them .

Did not do a good job. After 'cleaning' our dryer air vent, our dryer still stated 90% blockage. At the time we thought it was our dryer but dryer technician came and checked, he said it's our dryer vent and nothing wrong with our dryer! Three months from getting our dryer 'cleaned', I contacted another company, Dave Mihaly Air Care because SD Air Quality didn't respond to my e-mail.
Anyway, I'm glad I went with another company instead of giving them a second chance and would have paid for the service as long as they do the job right.

Junior and Brandon serviced my home and did a amazing Job. Not only am I glad I made the decision to get the service done int he first place, I made the right decision using these guys. Make sure you check with the company exactly how they will be cleaning the ducts. Both the receptionist and technicians were knowledgeable. My long lost hopes for solid, first class customer service were restored this morning when Junior and Jonathan C. performed Air Duct Cleaning and Dryer Duct Cleaning in my home. The gentlemen arrived on time and by the time they finished my house literally smelled fresher. I paid for duct cleaning and they left me with dirty ducts. After the crew left i went to open and inspected the ducts. It appears the whip was pushed through but didnt do anything. I paid for a furnace cleaning and its still dirty. You can see it in the pics i took. Ive been calling for over 10 days now and i just get the run around from Belinda. No manager or person in charge to solve the problem. Now I gota dispute the charge with my credit card company. Sad and shame on them. Dont use this company, rippoff.

Junior and Quinten (sp?) were professional and diligent about explaining the process of duct cleaning, and they truly cleaned the area they were working in at every step in their process. They advised me on some good items to install in the future that we were not aware of for allergen reduction. I liked them so much that I requested they come back and fog the vents in order to kill microbes, etc. They are fast-working with attention to detail, very knowledgeable and efficient in what they do. I found this air duct cleaning service while searching online, after reading some reviews i decided to email them and 2 other duct cleaning services. SD Air Quality answered promptly and where the only one to provide me with a Exact Quote based on what i needed done. 2 guys showed up to my door, they were really nice and friendly, had company uniforms and you could tell it wasn t their first job.
