GMR Fix Garage Doors

Elad and Jonathan were great to work with. They are straightforward and honest. Our garage door is older and provided them with some challenges. They never tried to sell us on replacing the door. This company was a great find on Yelp. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Tommy is literally the best! We contacted two other garage companies and they were keep saying we need changing the entire system or changing board. Tommy showed up and literally quickly found out the real problems is the broken gear and wrong board setting. He is a real pro and knows what he is doing. He quickly pointed out the mechanical gear broken parts and did a very tough but quick fix. It's an absolutely professional service. He also offered to fix the antenna for us. Super nice and friendly guy! Best of all time!

We needed to replace our aged driveway gate motor. GMR's quote was very competitive and they even offered an upgrade to a better model for a very attractive price. Jonathan came by and worked for several hours into the evening to make sure everything was installed and functioning properly. He even addressed and solved an electrical wiring issue, which took a lot of unexpected additional time. Regardless, Jonathan was 100% professional, kind and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. We highly recommend GMR Fix and would use them again without hesitation!

I just had an amazing experience that I would like to share with others who may have the same problem I had. It all started when I accidentally damaged my garage door so badly that I could not open or close it. To make matters worse I tried to fix it myself, as a result, I created more damage. I later found out I could have seriously hurt myself doing what I did.

Our garage door was getting stuck and eventually, trying to self-repair, the cable came undone and the garage would not open or close. I needed this repaired ASAP! Johnathan responded instantly and was at my house within an hour. He was attentive, kind and even offered to bring me Starbucks! Who does that?! He was clear about cost, possible problems and causes. I wish Jonathan was my first choice. I was having such a headache with the first company I went to (I won't mention their name), they did a quick fix sloppy job and wasted my money and time. I am so pleased with GMR and specifically Jonathan. It's really refreshing to call a business and experience promptness and honestly. My roll up garage door spool snapped and the the whole thing jammed up and was locked in place, wheels came off and door was off track. I called GMR (second one I called). I had no time to be futzing around with estimates and haggling because I'm too busy. I called, prayed they would be straight with me, and set the appointment. Also a tip for GMR- I found you on Yelp but I usually find services by typing in Google and searching on maps. If you aren't on there you should add yourself there to get more hits.

Jonathan came on time , as soon as he arrived , diagnosed the problem and fixed it within the hour . He is a "Superman".

Jonathan was amazing to work with. Very quick to respond to my Yelp request and brainstorm ideas with me. He came out the same day and we decided on a plan of action. He did a great job replacing our weather seal and general maintenance on our garage door. Very friendly and on time. Would highly recommend him and will use him again when problems arise.

Our garage door began making all kinds of weird and unusual noises - one in particular was a loud bang every time we opened and closed it.
I called several places to come take a look to see what they thought the problem was- I was just doing my due diligence and always try to get at least three different bids and opinions.
The last person to come out was Jonathan with this company.

I couldn’t get out of my garage this morning because the overhead spring had broken. I called GMR and they sent Jonathan over to fix it. He was timely and called me when he was in his way. Nathan did a great job installing, lubing and cleaning up. He was super nice and helpful and showed me how to open my garage door manually if the power should go out. I was very happy with their service and will recommend them to neighbors.

So, the mechanism for our automatic gate started sounding a little funny once the gate closed, causing the alarm to turn on. After further inspection, it looked like a belt was torn. We called a few spots and were able to secure a technician the next day and at the most reasonable price with GMR.

Johnatan was in contact with me within about 45 min of requesting a quote through Yelp. I was given a two hour window later the same afternoon, he gave me a call when he was about 10 min away, and arrived right on time.

Messaged him late in the evening and he responded promptly, and arrived first thing in the morning to perform repairs on our garage door. The torsion springs, and cables required replacement. In addition he installed reinforcement to stabilize the garage door.
