We searched for a mason for several months without success. The masons I found either did not call me back - or a few of them came to our house and said they would get back to me and never did. We wanted to close a door to a small porch off the master bedroom and our contractor sealed it with drywall and tarp, but we needed a mason to match the brick and brick it in. Our house in Mt Lebanon is 96 years old and the brick is unique. I called Jim Dimarco and he came over that SAME DAY (!) to look at the house and the next day it wasn't freezing (they cannot mix cement needed for masonry if below

Jim and his crew were great. They communicated with me timely, made sure my neighbors knew when there would be a lot of dust near them so they could move their cars, and came back when we had a small issue to correct it. Very highly recommend DiMarco Masonry.

Jim and his crew does fantastic work - on time, professional and also did a fantastic job cleaning up. Jim explained what was being done at every step and answered any questions I had. They had to replace 3 window lintels, 2 large lintels above 2 garage doors and the lintel over the front door and fix a chimney. Along with this they also had to do some brick pointing work in a few places. Everything looks great now! You can't tell there was brick work done.
I would highly recommend DiMarco Masonry for any masonry work you may need to get done.

Finding a good mason takes time and you also need the patience when they are in high demand. Such is the case with my experience with DiMarco masonry.
I was in dire need of pointing for my home and also to address water issues coming off my solid cement staircase. Jim DiMarco came to my home late last year and went over what could be done to help me. He recommended putting in a metal drain below the "lip" of the staircase to reduce run off.
When it comes to pointing, the business just doesn't fill in the gaps. Instead they dig out the old cement and insure fresh cement to insure

Jim and his crew did an excellent job on my house repointing and chimney repair at an excellent value. My one chimney was literally falling apart from year of neglect from the previous owners and I was amazed at the results when they were completed. I have already recommended them to neighbors and family and will use them in the future.

Excellent company and super trustworthy! Jim always responded quickly, on time and does amazing work! He removed an old AC unit that was installed thru a wall in our spare room. Jim and his team restored brick after removing built-in AC units from my 1950s brick home. In addition, they repaired mortar joints that were either loose or had been filled with caulk by previous owner. Jim explained entire process before the job began and kept me updated along the way; no surprises. His quote was fair, crew was professional and I would hire them again in a minute!

If you need a good mason, Jim is your man. He recently fixed our chimney and did a great job from tear down to rebuilding. We couldn’t be happier. And, you couldn’t tell there had been dieteriated bricks all over the yard; they cleaned up better than it was before starting the job. Great crew, great job and a great guy. Easy to work with and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Can’t say enough about Jim.
