Kevin Reyes is a native of the NW raised on Whidbey Island, WA. Since the age of 18 Kevin found that doing wood floors was a great fit for him. The artistic yet hard work required allows for creativity and a motivated work ethic that results in beautiful floors. Kevin applied himself on homes and estates throughout the San Juan Islands, Whidbey Island and Anacortes before heading to the Seattle market in 2006.
Kevin started Element in 2006 with the goal to keep delivering awesome floors while learning and applying new techniques and better methods of sanding, finishing wood floors. Instead of applying a "one size fits all" method, Kevin views each floor as an opportunity to create something that is special and fits all of his customers unique vision of their floor.
He even took a position with the worlds largest floor finish manufacturer (Bona) from 2013-2014 to gain more knowledge and experience with the actual science behind it all. Aside from doing floors which is Kevin's work and hobby he enjoys staying active, being with his wife Sally and daughter Simone and of course watching the Hawks.

Services
For daily cleaning of your wood floor the best practice you can have is to always remove your shoes so grit will not be introduced onto the floor. Daily dust mopping and use of a safe wood floor cleaner is recommended. We suggest the Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner over water and vinegar because this product is designed to cut the grime without leaving unnecessary moisture to slowly evaporate.

Kevin and the guys at Element Hardwoods did a terrific job refinishing our hardwood floors. These guys demonstrated impressive experience and knowledge and did a near perfect job. The company checked all the boxes that are important to me. They started on schedule, gave me frequent updates, addressed all our concerns, kept the work area clean, minimized the dust, and finished on schedule. Importantly the base mouldings were not damaged meaning that no repair or touch up was needed. The final result is beautiful. These guys are pros and I highly recommend Element Hardwoods!

Kevin and assistant are masters at refinishing floors!
I didn’t know if the master bedroom floor could be saved But Kevin came in with his high tech equipment and made our three bedrooms floors look like they were new! Simply amazing!
Remember when refinishing old floors made a huge mess? Well things have changed! There was no dust!
