We hired Eric to build us a new wood mantle for our fireplace. He responded to our e-mail immediately and came to the house within a few days to look at the job. Our new mantle was installed within 2 weeks of our first meeting. It is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I envisioned! I will be hiring him again for more custom work.
Very nice people and they did a quality repair job in no time for me. Also reasonable rate for work. I'd gladly use them again. Although they are set up to do more impressive wood projects, they took the time to help me out with my smaller one.

We had a decently large project of installing baseboards, trim, door casings, crown moulding, shoe moulding, wainscotting, and solid wood doors. Everybody on the team was a pleasure to work with Eric and Elizabeth were very kind, responsive, and willing to work with our needs and budget. Tammi and Ethan did an excellent job and were very hard working and diligent, and I was impressed with how they cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. Everyone was very kind and helpful whenever I had a question was willing to work with me on every detail. Overall Very Impress A++ would recommend!

We needed to have one kitchen cabinet door repaired or replaced. Most places weren't interested in such a small job, but the Wood Butler folks were quick to respond. Once they took a look, they realized they could repair instead of order a new one. The work was done quickly and the door looks good as new. Reasonable rates and great communication as well.
Highly recommended.

Eric and his team are amazing! I had a different finishing carpenter flake on me for a small job: mount a TV over the fireplace in pre-existing shelving and paneling. I had already scheduled an electrician to come out to run power to the TV, who had about a 3 week wait time, so when the original carpenter flaked I was afraid I'd have to reschedule the electrician because I didn't want them to cut into the paneling.
I called the Wood Butler, Eric's lovely wife Elizabeth sympathized with my issue and said Eric would call me right back to see what could be done. That night Eric called

The Wood Butler managed our kitchen cabinet refacing and did a beautiful job selecting the Shaker doors, fitting and hanging the doors, and putting on new hardware. They managed the painting subcontractor work for us and offered a design consultant to help us get the right shade of paint (so worth it!). They were there at the start and at the end, making sure every door fit just right! Thank you Eric, Elizabeth, Tammi and Ethan!

They went above and beyond when I contacted about an issue other in the field told me to figure it out and then they would do the work. Not these guys, they came and looked and then spent time researching things. They could not fix issue #1, but #2 & #3 were dealt with wonderfully. I know have the most beautiful mantel over my fireplace...I still love it! The price was fair and workmanship is awesome!
Thanks for everything!!!

Eric is very kind and professional. Beth was puncture with scheduling. We had the consultation for kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately, we could not proceed because of emergency need for our budget. we really liked the honesty and the experience Eric can offer. The wood butler is definitely a great choice for us in the future. Thank you for all your help

My twin boys needed larger beds and needed to utilize an awkward space better. I came up with a design and contacted the Wood Butler for help in making it happen. They came to my house and verified all the measurements and took my design and brought it to life! The Wood Butler was fast and reasonably priced with the greatest attention to detail and craftsmanship. They used brads that would not snag the sheets and textiles on the bed, made a great safety rail, and made the design versatile if they ever wanted to "un-loft" the two beds. They pre-built everyting in their shop and delivered

I found the Wood Butler after I discovered a missing kitchen drawer in a rental home we manage. The tenant said it came apart and he tossed it. If he had kept the face plate it would have been no problem to get the drawer re-built and just add the original plate back on it. I took another drawer to Eric (the Wood Butler) hoping that he could closely reproduce the special sculpting of the lost drawer face so that it would not be too noticeable. HE NAILED IT!! He then gave me a piece of veneer that he used and said to apply varnish or a bit of stain to practice for the drawer color. After one try

I had new cabinet doors made for the kitchen, and Eric hung the new doors, transferred the hardware, and did an excellent job of the task. The hanging of the doors was complicated by the way the original doors were hung. but Eric was able to see the issues involved and resolve the problem quiet handily. He did excellent work, cleaned up well and was also very kind. I would without hesitation hire him again if a need arose.
