The best time to prune fruit trees in Eugene, OR is in the dormant winter months between late November and early March. You can protect your trees from the next big ice storm by having our certified arborists create a management plan to balance your trees. The Chinook Wind, aka The Pineapple Express, is a meteorological phenomenon that can land storms in the Pacific Northwest from October to April. This Atmospheric River builds in the Pacific Ocean and hits the west coast with a warm jetstream. When heavy rains that saturate the soil combine with extreme winds, trees can fail.

Nate (the owner) came out, quoted a rate that was competitive with the other people I had called and was able to quickly schedule a time to have it removed. I was pretty worried, considering it was up against a fence and surrounded by power lines. There was only a little more than a 45 degree area where it would be safe to drop it - but Nate and his crew took it down quickly and in safe little chunks.

Nate at GreenTree Arborists was worth every penny. He is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He came over for a walk through of the work I wanted done and his expertise was clear from the start.
