When stone work is thoughtfully designed and installed, the work will stand for hundreds of years. Stone has been used as a building material in almost every culture throughout time. The composition, type and style of the stonework all tell the story of the geology of the land, the masons and their patrons.
Working with stone allows Fessler Masonry to be creative and honor the past while creating something solid for the future. I began my career in Pennsylvania at 18 cleaning chimneys and VERY quickly moved to building walls and restoring historical stone building.
Since moving to Colorado in 1996, I apprenticed with two of the best stone masons in Colorado, Jay Anderson and Steve Ferguson who learned from Chuck Tribble from Tribble Stone in Lyons, CO.When you work with Fessler Masonry, you can be assured that your project will be completed in a timely, affordable manner without the sacrifice of creativity or craftsmanship.

We requested bids from multiple masons for a showcase living room fireplace. It is 20+ feet tall with a large stone hearth and mantle. Jonathon's bid came in competitive and he said he could make our fast deadline. He listened to exactly what we envisioned, presented a realistic and cost effective way to do it, and has made it a beautiful focal point of our house - even better then what we hoped for! The craftsmanship of the fireplace is second to none and everyone comments on its quality when they visit. We will be using him for all stone work we have in the future and are so happy we chose

John Fessler is the best stone mason I know. He is meticulous in his work, very professional, and a very nice guy. He did a few stone patios for me that look so good that guests take notice and ask us about them. He's come back to do some touch up for no charge and is really a stand-up guy. I would recommend him to anyone.
