Kevin founded Spectrum Superior Stain in 2015. He grew up in Midland, TX, and graduated from Texas A&M University. He moved to Austin and worked in residential construction for a large home builder. Seeing firsthand the various construction phases and the art of skilled trades was the inspiration behind his passion for decorative concrete.

I only use Kevin and his crew at Spectrum Superior Stain for all concrete stain and garage floor coating. I've hired him at a previous home to do garage epoxy flooring, patio staining & etching, as well as our new home garage epoxy flooring. As long as I'm in the Austin area, I will never use anyone else except for Kevin and his crew for garage or any concrete decorative work. He is very meticulous on prep work and detailed throughout the entire process! Always very communicative and clear, Kevin is a true professional in this trade.

After a pressure washer company caused damage to my front porch, I spoke to Kevin at Spectrum Superior Stain to see what I could do. Kevin explained all of my options and pricing and gave me amazing detail as to how the finished work would look and hold up to Texas weather. We chose to have an overlay done and grey stain applied based on photo from their website. He did not disappoint. He spent nearly three days working his butt off making sure the project was perfect and he didn’t skip corners. I got three different quotes to do a metallic epoxy floor. I got a good vibe from Kevin right away and knew I wanted to work with his company. We had a wonderful experience with Spectrum Stain. We have an office in E Austin that was a warehouse at one point in time and as a result different areas of the concrete floor were different colors, had different finishes, were stained, and had moisture damage. Kevin and his crew did an amazing job to make the floors look cohesive and fresh.
Kevin's communication was clear and transparent, his attention to detail was impeccable, and the level of service we received was wonderful. He walked us through all our options, created a few sample sections so we could see in advance what they'd look like

My floor required an entire overhaul. I chose Spectrum Superior Stain after viewing their work on their website. Kevin came out for a free consultation and he explained every step of the process. I showed him pictures of what I envisioned and he showed color options and examples of his work. After choosing two stain colors to create the look I wanted, he made it a point to address all my concerns and was not satisfied until he was sure I understood every detail and what to expect. He also made it a point to communicate with me either by phone or emails and promptly got back to me if any of my calls

Just finished up a garage epoxy project with the Spectrum Superior Stain team. Very impressed with their quality of work. The staff was very knowledgeable of their product, and explained the process of what to expect and how to best prepare. They were each very professional and courteous of working with my schedule. Would highly recommend them to anyone seeking professional installation of epoxy projects. Especially those who are 1st time home buyers or new to the epoxy process.
