Work requested was remove limbs up to 30’ on 3 firs and take down an old cherry tree. I was surprised how quickly the work was able to be done. Crew arrived and started work after walking through the job. They finished the job quickly and were through about the cleanup.

This was the 7th or 8th tree service company I contacted. They got back to me quickly and set up an estimate. I was able to speak with the gentleman doing the estimate and he was friendly and knowledgeable. You know a company is doing something right when your employee speaks so highly of how the company is run and how their workers are treated. I had a tree that couldn't be serviced during the summer because of the type of tree, I had no idea. But after seeing the estimate I scheduled the service. I called around for quotes to remove a row of arborvitaes. Rich’s was a little move expensive, but they had the most consistently good reviews. So from the time I called to the time they came out for a quote was about a week. Again, higher cost than expected, but he said they could get it done that day- tree stump removal and all.
We agreed on their quote and 3 super awesome and knowledgeable guys came out and just obliterated the trees. Roughly 2 hours and the trees/stumps were just gone. The side of my house turned from a dark alley to this great, open space.

The City of Portland required us to take down a huge diseased Dutch Elm on our parking strip. We got three bids and the two that were within $50.00 of one another felt the truest and most accurate. We had used Rich's Tree Service once before to take down a large cedar tree and they did a great job. We selected them for this project, which was way more complicated than the previous jog and they did an incredible job. We were 100% satisfied. Complete professionalism and politeness from all the crew. I highly recommend Rich's Tree Service.

I just wanted to say Thank you again, to Rich and his tree service team. He came out to help with a problem we were having with Cotton wood trees. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in finding a solution to a long-term problem. His team was courteous and on time. I was impressed how fast they got the job done and cleaned up well. Cut 8 trees out and came back to grind the stumps out. Great Job! I will use them again without hesitation!

I needed a tree removed and I tried to get estimates from 5 different tree services...only two responded. One respondent couldn't get out to give me an estimate for two weeks. Alex from Rich's came out the very next day and gave me a very competitive bid.
On removal day, Enrique and Carlos were professional, polite, safe and the quality of the work was perfect.
Jenny and the office staff were responsive and communication across the board was excellent. Five stars + for Rich's Tree Service.

Words can not TOTALLY express how absolutely completely unequivocally 100000000000000000000000% ecstatic, pleased, happy, my husband and I are with Rich's Tree Service and EVERYONE we dealt with in the process!!!!!!! Owning our 1st house and wanting to clean up our backyard, clearly by the pictures, to put in a pool, they did a PHENOMENAL JOB!!!!! We, unfortunately due to scheduling, on our part, had the pool up before they were able to come in. The 2 men that did the work were SOOOOOOOO careful and precise!!! ABSOLUTELY beyond our expectations!!!!! We would hands down recommend this company!!

Rich's team was able to come out the day after the estimate. During the walk-through for the estimate, Rich showed me how to break down the whole amount of work into several manageable jobs, told me what didn't need to be a priority and where it was most wise to invest. The team will return in 2 weeks to grind the stumps. While it was shocking to take those old trees out, they were past their prime, rotting, and it would have been unsafe to leave them another year. The shrubs under the windows were not rotten, but also past their prime and unmanageable.

The effort these guys put forth to remove 7 Douglas fir tree's and 2 alders all in one day was short of amazing. Two crews showed up on time and went right to work.
