Distinct specializes in artisan created handcrafted soaps, and our cold pressed soaps are a true labor of love for owner and soap artisan Sam. He makes each batch by hand in our in-store studio using natural and locally sourced, plant-based ingredients and oils. To complement our soaps, we offer our own line of all-natural body butters, bath bombs, sugar scrubs, bath salts, balms, hand sanitizer, deodorant, shave pucks and more.
Give a boost to the environment and your profits by carrying Distinct products in your establishment. I visited the store for the first time today. I took a beginner-level soap making class. The class was small, which allowed the 3 participants to ask as many questions as we wanted. Sam, shop owner and teacher, was very gracious with his explanations, and he was gentle with his directions. The shop was clean and neatly organized. And the smell is AMAZING!! Nice assortment of bath and skin care products, as well as retail bathing supplies. Overall, it was a great class for a beginner. I would definitely recommend the handmade soaps and other products.

I'm really obsessed with bath and sauna products. I like to wash with a washcloth and use a good, quality, nice-smelling soap in the process. That said, I don't give up using liquid soaps and disinfectants. I'm a fan of bath bombs and make everyone give them to me if there are no other ideas. That's why I visit this store regularly myself and recommend my friends to visit.

We had a group of 8 people, so we split up into two groups of four and made two different flavor soaps (lavender and lemon). It was a fun experience! You get to walk away with a bar of soap... not the soap that you make since it takes a few weeks to "cure" or "harden," but you can come back to pick up a bar once it is ready. I adore Distinct Bath and Body. Their soaps are just so so good and you can use the bar until it literally disappears. I'm fortunate enough to work across the street from this lovely shop so I can stop in whenever I need. But when I stopped by last week I bought a bunch of items for my friend who lives out of town and I think her reaction says it all. If you find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by and stock up!

This store is the Epitome of a Terrific Local Business and everyone needs to support them! I ordered a gift box of 4 soaps and stopped by to pick them up today; WOW! The fragrance that greets you when Sam the owner opens the door is lovely; what to choose is the only dilemma. I wanted to stay and browse but a family with 3 beautiful little kids came in behind me and as the store is small & covid is a terrible reality, I left with my order so they could shop leisurely. I will be back! In fact, I just went to their website and placed another order.

This place is the BEES KNEES! Upon entering the establishment, you're greeted with a delightful olfactory jamboree of sorts (even while wearing a mask--booya!). It was quite pleasant, and if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic, I'd be plunging nose first into all the products to absorb the wonderful scents. I had some questions about the products, and the owner was very helpful. He assisted me in selecting a variety of handcrafted soap bars; they are of high quality as are the other products in the shop. I'll be back for more! This is a great small business in the area. If

During Covid I took advantage of the many local businesses offering delivery and I signed up for the monthly soap subscription with Distinct Bath and Body. For under $10 per month I get a hand made artisan crafted soap delivered to my door. Each soap I have received has been a joy to use in the shower and has lasted around the month.
Today I stopped in the store for the first and it was lovely as well. There was incense/candles/beard grooming products/bath bombs and of course soaps. The owner, Sam, is such a nice guy too.

Great local boutique. Handcrafted soaps in every scent imaginable. My go to place for gifts. The soaps last forever, and the shampoo bar is always a hit. Plenty of items for both genders as well as other items that make it a fun stop to pop in and browse.

Went in to get small xmas presents...came out with lots for myself! The store is super cute with a nice designy sense to it, and the owner is super nice (I'd seen him at farmers markets, too) - all in all a great place to have in the neighborhood. The thing that made me want to write this review, though, is their body butter. I never thought I would find a replacement for my petroleum-based lotion, much to my dismay - it was the only thing that worked for my very sensitive dry skin, and I need to apply it every day. This store is absolutely amazing. The owner is super friendly and is the type of business I support. I never used these kind of soaps before and I can say that these soaps really work better then those big company name brands. I bought two soaps, one for showering and one strictly to wash my face. I recommend getting a charcoal activated one. As soon as you let the water clear the soap from your face you'll see how amazing this soap works. I received a few soaps and lotions from Distinct at Christmas and really enjoyed them. The scents are wonderful; particularly their Red Clover Tea products. I finally was able to stop in the store yesterday to pick up a few items. What a cute shop! Your welcomed with a warm smile and great customer service. You need awesome bath products and want to find other amazing things you never knew you loved! Come here. I purchased all my teacher gifts here for the holidays and they loved them . Soaps are amazing . Coffee one wakes me up in the morning before I have my first cup. Owner is super helpful and nice. The store is designed lovely and smells like heaven . We stumbled across this shop one Sunday recently. I just can't walk past handmade soaps so we popped in. The shop is cute and the staff on hand were incredibly helpful. I loved the variety of products and scents available, and the store layout was inviting as we sniffed around for something that worked for us. We picked up a few bars of what has proven to be some of the highest quality soap I've purchased. We will definitely be back!

I visited this store for the first time today and loved it. There's a variety of specialty soaps, salt scrub, body butters, and other goodies. They sell a lotion bar that practically melts in your hand, but is so easy to carry in your purse or bag in a tin. I also received a free soap with a $10 purchase today, sweet! The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and makes most of the products himself. Everything in the store is all natural, its great! I will definitely be back for the shaving soap and brush for my hubby:) This is a great store to find something distinctly different for anyone
