Founder & Design Director
Jen holds a Master of Arts degree in Interior Design and is a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer.®
She started her business in 2017 after an unexpected layoff in her previous role. This ignited a fire to use her education in design and to share her passion for environmental psychology, a topic which she researched and published studies on while in school.
With her previous career in software project management, she is a stickler for organization and timelines, ensuring her projects are done the right way. With so many decisions to make and details to consider when building a home, Jen guides her clients through the overall process.
Her work has been featured in DSM Magazine and the International Builders’ Show. She is an active member with the National Kitchen & Bath Association, National Association of Home Builders, and executive chair for the Professional Women in Building. We hired Texturious Designs to consult on planning our kitchen remodel. Jen replied to our request very quickly, was on time to our consultation, and answered all our questions. Jen had awesome ideas and the final report was incredibly insightful and helped illustrate her suggestions. We will definitely be hiring Texturious Designs for all our home design needs.

Jen came to my downtown loft space to give me guidance on colors, decorating, closet redesign and choosing a color for our kitchen cabinets. She was patient with my questions and suggestions and offered great advice on how to make our space our own. She was awesome to work with and I would highly recommend her services. We are completing our home and Jen has been amazing to work with! She has the unique ability to grasp our vision and then discern our tastes and personalities and then apply her incredible eye to come up with ideas to make our house a home that we will enjoy for many years. This is our last new home but if the occasion ever arose, we would DEFINITELY hire Texturious Designs again!

We truly enjoyed working with Texturious Designs for our kitchen remodel. Jen listened to our vision for the space and added thoughtful details into the design, making the end product even better than we envisioned. Not only did she make the kitchen look great, but she also ensured it is highly functional with cabinet choice and layout. It was awesome working with Jen. She listened carefully and attentively and then came up with solutions to my decorating problems. I had things narrowed down, but she helped me find just the right tile, rug, and small accessories. It was like having a good friend come over and help decorate, except this friend has great taste.
