Showed up on time, very quick to pack and move our huge couch, bed, dresser, and a big desk. Drove it an hour and a half away and got everything where it needed to go when they got there. Paid by time and didn't have to worry about weird little charges. Fair and efficient. My wife and I didn't worry about anything even though we usually do. Would recommend.

If you are looking for a professional and reliable moving company then look no further. These guys helped me with my local move back in 2017 and I had a good experience with them. So I decided to work with them to help me with move from MA to NJ. Promptly responded to my queries, provided me with a quote which was lower than most of the other movers.

On the day of the move, Vlad and Eugen showed up right on time. These guys are pro's and know in and out of the moving business. They packed everything with care and loaded the truck in just two hours. They took extra care to make sure that each of our boxes/stuff reached their appropriate rooms at our new place in NJ. All of our moving stuff was intact with no damage whatsoever! Both Vlad and Eugen are professional/knowledgeable/hard working and deserve every bit of appreciation. Would definitely consider working with them in the future!

Hands down! best movers in the north east area, I've used borntomove 4 times. They arrived late only once and they gave 10% off for their mistake. No surprises at the last minute, no complaints about heavy stuff, etc. If you are looking to move in north east look no further.

We found Born to Move through Yelp approximately 5 years ago. Since then we have used them for moving items 4 different times (to storage and into various homes). They have always been WAY faster than expected, and the price has been very fair. Will probably continue to use them anytime we need items moved.

We used Born to move about 3 weeks ago and all we can say was WOW! They are a fantastic moving company with professionals who worked very hard to move us out and into our new home. The team we had was very pleasant and did not hesitate to ask any questions about what goes where. Our stuff was moved with care, nothing was broken, and anything that had to be wrapped in blankets was carefully done as such. Juan and the team at Born to Move did a great job. We were exchanging locations with our daughter and family on the same street. It turned out to be a complicated move. We had two moving trucks and by the end of the day 9 movers from our place where we had lived for 40 years! The movers were responsive, courteous, energetic and stuck to the task including up and down many stairs with lots of artwork, furniture and boxes. Storage was also arranged.

Born to Move made my move from Boston to NYC seamless. I had a tight turn around and I was able to verify that they would deliver my things the day before I flew out of the country. They let me know my stuff would be delivered by noon and they showed up right at noon. It was truly so wonderful to have that peace of mind knowing I had to take care of a few other things that day.

Their online portal made it so I could let them know an idea of how much stuff I had. They were very attentive and made me feel confident every step of the way. They showed up on time both for pick up and delivery and offered a discount for paying cash. They were also flexible and allowed me to pay the first half at pick up and the second half at delivery. (I'm a skeptic) They were just so wonderful! I gave the delivery guys a sweaty hug I was just so relieved. Thanks for making my first state-to-state move a success.

After a nightmare scenario of a different large name moving company standing me up on the day of my move I found Born To Move online. A quick call explaining my dilemma and the need for a last minute next day move and I was set for everything just roughly 12 hours later. The movers arrived early and ready to go handling a difficult move through and old home with lots of corners and narrow doorways.

This company y saved me and there coats were lower than the horrible company who left me high and dry the day before. Would recommend this company to anyone in the area who is Moving!

Brooklyn, NY to north shore Boston, MA. Good service, good value for money. They even took several boxes of books I had packed that were way too heavy for safe carrying and moved them without complaint. I probably would agree on specifics beforehand of moving anything that's very fragile and / or valuable, as I don't think they travel with very much specialized packaging material. But that's pretty much true for all moving companies. Would use again.

They moved me from MA to CT and they were very professional. I've used movers before and these were by far my favorites. *They were exceptionally polite and actually wrapped my mattress without me asking. *Everything was handled delicately. *Pricing was reasonable. Great service for interstate (MA to GA) move. Long story short, the movers that we previously booked didn't show up on two consecutive days and were giving us the runaround. I called Born to Move and while they weren't able to come the same day, they promptly came the following morning and delivered our belongings in 2 days. Very competitive, flat rate for the distance and the size of our apartment.

Would definitely recommend if traveling in the New England to Southeast corridor. Also, we boxed up nearly everything which made the move easier (for us and them) and they did a good job wrapping furniture and other fragile pieces.

The movers were quick to pick-up our furniture (couches, hutches, tables, etc.) from the suburbs and arrive on time to our apartment. Best move I've ever had so far. We moved from a tiny apartment in Beacon Hill Boston with narrow streets for parking and 4-5 flights of narrow stairs, and the moving guys (Dimitri team) moved everything quickly, safely, and efficiently. They were also on time/a few minutes EARLY, which was amazing. We just had an in-town move, so the whole ordeal only took a few hours and I didn't worry about a thing.

They came prepared with furniture pads and took care of my furniture and even dissembling a couch that was a hassle to get up the stairs the first time we moved in. Leading up to the move, Alex was very quick to respond via text to my inquiries, which really put my mind at ease leading up to the move. I had a feeling they would actually show up on time (not a guarantee in NYC/Boston at all), so I was not worried about anything.

Because they charge by hour, the move ended up being cheaper than expected - and they didn't dally to try to extend their time either. We will be booking with Born to Move for our next move for sure!
