We had a very good experience with Sound Painting. They were not the cheapest estimate, (other places we had concerns about, estimators that rescheduled a few times, or were late, slow to deliver estimate, etc) but Sound Painting arrived on time to every date, did what they said they would do, and finished on time. They fixed any issues noticed, even to tiny single dots of over spray, or even repainting one small area we had miscommunication on color on.

All the workers were kind, polite and professional. They really wanted everything to be perfect. The quality looks very good. No messes left, extra care was taken to make sure no paint landed on landscaping, concrete, or decking. Would recommend.

Sound Painting solutions did an amazing job from the initial request for an estimate to the end of the painting job. It was a quick turnaround with an accurate estimate and length of job. They were helpful in explaining everything from strategy, color selection, and payment. The team that did the work was on time and quick to adjust the few quality issues I discovered. Out of the three estimates I gathered they were also the lowest, fastest, and highest in quality. They have a happy returning customer.

Sound painting did such a great job! We just had our home rewired and it left most of our walls torn up. Sound painting got in here fast and patched all the walls like new. Sound Painting Solutions is an easy choice to make when it comes to painting the interior of your home. Jeff was super responsive and took the time to talk to us to make sure we were completely comfortable with interior painting process. The payment process was easy and the administrative team (I worked with Kirsta) was fantastic. James, the on site project manager, was incredibly friendly and made sure that everything done in the house was up to our standards at the end of each day.

If I could give them 6 stars, I would! This process has been smooth and professional from start to finish, and we are totally thrilled with the final product. From the beginning, communication was excellent. Connor was patient, clear and thorough during the estimate process and took the time to answer all our questions. The Sound Painting Solutions were excellent from start to finish painting my house interior and very easy to communicate with. Totally pleased with the job that they did. Update 2022 I'm in the process of selling my West Seattle home and went with Sound Painting Solutions for a full interior paint. They tend to focus on exterior work during the summer but made sure a couple of great painters were available for the paint job I needed. David and Wyatt were amazing to work with and I am extremely satisfied with the job they did.

Good communication and after an initial issue was cleared up I have no problem fully recommending Sound Painting Solutions. They did a great job working around some obstacles and made sure I was fully satisfied.

I recently hired Sound Painting Solutions to repaint my one bedroom condo. They did the ceiling, trim, and both the bedroom and living area/kitchen. Kevin and crew did a fantastic job! They showed up on time and got to work quickly. In a day and a half I had a freshly painted condo and everything looked great! Would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the area and will be using them on future projects.

I reached out to Sound Painting Solutions to get an estimate on interior painting (which I have hired them for, but that service won't happen until January so this review is not for that!) and noticed that they also do deck repair. My deck was falling apart, so I asked them to also estimate that work. My house is in Seattle, but I currently am on the East Coast, which can make working with contractors difficult, but SPS was very responsive and very easy to work with! Connor came out when he said he would and called me while he was on location to talk with me about what he was seeing and answered my many, many questions.

I'm really grateful that he was able to chat with me about my different options. There was a slight hiccup in ordering materials, but Kirsta at the office was really communicative about what was going on, and despite this hiccup, they were actually able to start the work earlier than they had anticipated. I am heading to Seattle this weekend, and I'm really excited to see my deck in person, but I've seen photographs and it looks great!

There were some covid-related delays, but the team was very communicative about it, and I'm very happy that they took the health and well-being of their crew seriously! Highly recommend Sound Painting. I would hire them again! We hired Sound to paint the exterior of our house. The communication was spot on. They were clear, reliable, and transparent every step of the way. The process was quick and easy. The final result amazing. This is the second time I've used Sound painting solutions, first time for my salon in 2013, and this past week for my garage exterior. Again I cannot be more happy with the quality of work this company provides. My salon which takes a beating- washing walls weekly, even daily hasn't had a single problem with paint loss or fading, 7 years later. The large garage they painted for me turned out even better than I expected. We had never used a painting company in Seattle before, and we are so so glad that we chose Sound Painting for our Interior painting project! Connor was amazing when he first came out to give us our estimate and even gave us great approaches that we had not thought about in regards to our painting project. The process was very smooth and seamless. Connor came out and gave us an estimate on a Monday and started our project on a Friday when we initially we were told it would be late May/Early June.

We were so grateful that they could start that early! They make everything seamless and the picking paint/color process was not stressful at all due to the way that they do it. They definitely put your mind at ease about hiring them as your painter. Matt (the team lead) and all of the team members that painted our home were excellent. They paid attention to detail, and did precise work.

Any issue that we noticed that we were not satisfied with, they quickly adjusted it to our standards. They were all very nice and always on time. In the process, they lost one of our light switch covers, but Gary, the field supervisor, quickly replaced it for us without a problem. We had some touch ups that needed to be done after our job was complete and Gary and Ethan came out to make sure everything was done and that we were fully satisfied.

We are 100% completely satisfied with Sound Painting Solutions. They are a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Their customer service and quality craftsmanship is superior. I would HIGHLY recommend Sound Painting Solutions for any of your painting needs.

I want to update my review from 2013 when SPS did an amazing job painting my salon! It's held up through vigorous daily cleaning better than I could have imagined! This past week I had SPS paint my garage and I am again beyond happy with the results. The colors are exactly what I wanted, the prep work was on point, and the workers were polite and talented. I also appreciated the payment options and invoicing! I look forward to working with this company again!

I would highly recommend working with Sound Painting Solutions for any difficult paint projects you might have. We had an excellent experience working with Ryan and team. They showed up early and ready to work hard each day - even during a week when we had snow in our neighborhood - and were consistently polite whenever we talked about progress at the end of each day. Ryan even worked extra hard on the last day to touch up a few "off-spots" that we noticed as we looked at the paint job, and his commitment to doing whatever was needed to give us a flawless result that we could enjoy was evident all the way through.

We couldn't have asked for a better team for this paint job - from Jeff and Lindsey with their outstanding communication to Ryan and the painting team for their exceptional work, we were VERY pleased with the overall experience. Surprisingly great and easy! The cedar shake on the south side of our house had been getting soft for a few years and paint was beginning to peel. I got an estimate over a zoom call (during quarantine) by providing requested pictures. The carpenters came out first and replaced almost the entire side of the house and even did it more quietly than expected.

When they were done the only difference was that all the old crap cedar shake shingles were gone and nice new cedar shingles were left behind in their place. A few weeks later the painters showed up and were able to almost perfectly color match against the previous paint ( we were only having the one side painted ) even though we didn't have any record of what the color was.

It took 2 days of work but everything was pretty much perfect once they were done. They did a great job taping off around windows and covering the plants under the side of the house.

Sound Painting was great. From a quickly scheduled estimate to a great job painting my townhouse by Victor and his crew - the job was professional, on-time, and of very high quality. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Just slightly pricier than other options but I think definitely worth it for the professionalism and quality. Will definitely go straight to them next time I need any paint job, and will refer to friends.

We decided to work with Jeff and Sound Painting Solutions right before things shut down in March. Jeff was extremely responsive and stayed in touch. Once we got going it was very easy to communicate with Jeff about the project. The crew was incredible - kind, professional and did such a good job. They helped out with other things that were going on around the house at the same time such as deliveries and worked well with other crews in the space. Victor was the lead on our particular job and was so nice as well. We had wallpaper done in our dining room and Gary did a beautiful job. The house was left in great shape afterward. I highly recommend Sound Painting Solutions!

Update: April 2019 We had to have some repair work done and asked Sound Painting Solutions to fix the paint damage we had and touch up some other projects. They gave us a bid and we agreed. When the painter showed up, he felt some of the work should be under warrantee from their previous work and they reduced our bill by 35%. Again, they may be the most expensive at first glance but they are still the best value.

Sound Painting Solutions offers extraordinary value even though their bid was the highest we looked at. They provided us twice the allotment of journeyman and apprentice painter's hours other bidders offered at a 30-25% increase in cost. They repaired defects we had for decades and produced a new house finish in a 40 year old home and kept the time we were displaced to a minimum.

They met or exceeded the specs on their bid, using up to 4 coats to get the finish they wanted even though they only promised 2. They removed wallpaper and refinished walls expertly. They did not stop until they got it right. The job site was visited regularly by 2 levels of supervisors, each searching proactively for problems and responding to our concerns.

Everybody we worked with was rapidly responsive and effective. The work ethic at all levels we encountered was something I would recommend without reservation. We particularly enjoyed Gary, Kevin, Michael, Elizabeth, Todd, Matt, Zack, Cory and Jeff.

Sound Painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house. The estimate and contract were clear and precise; there were no surprises. Jose and his crew were very professional and do thorough work. The site was always clean and free of hazards, the prep work was extensive, and the results were impressive. We will use them again for our next paint job. Update: they have now added carpentry services. We hired them to build in bookshelves in our study and living room. We were very pleased with the results and the cost. We will be working with them again.
