Steve’s Plumbing & A/C Service

I'm only writing this review to highlight the efforts of an individual technician. Zach Brownfield has over 10 years of experience in and out of Hawaii. His skill and expertise is extremely evident in his work. It's clear to me he is passionate about his trade and it's also clear his training polished him into the highly skilled technician he is today.

Not only did Zach install 3 faucets and drains, a water softener, a toilet, and repair a hot water heater, he provided detailed explanations of what he was doing and took the time to provide tips and tricks to better maintain all of these items. I watched as Zach meticulously installed these items leaving no stone unturned and taking no shortcuts. Zach also repaired problematic items performed by an unskilled plumber from another company.

It was clear Zach was focused on getting the job done to completeness and perfection, time was not his priority, but rather, Zach went above and beyond and though I believe the prices are too high Zach did his best to find ways to make the service affordable. If this review was for Zach alone, it would be a 10/5 (Amazing job), but due to the price gouging, I rate Steve's Plumbing a 4. HIGHLY recommend you call and request Zach for all your plumbing needs in the future!

Aloha, I would just like to leave a service review for the plumbers at Steve's Plumbing! For the past month we've been having some issues with our bathroom plumbing, and the plumbers from Steve's Plumbing have then absolutely exceptional! There was one plumber who stayed over four hours to try and solve our drainage problem. He did not leave until 1 AM and was so gracious after working so hard to resolve the problem which he did. However, we had an issue in the guest bathroom and our plumber Sunny was able to come in, assess the problem and work on the drainage until it was solved!

He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and even cleaned our tub and toilet before he left! We are very happy with Steve's Plumbing and hopefully the issue has been solved!

They were fast and today was the first day to try it out and the water heated up so fast and hot. My boss was floored with happiness. Service: Water heater installation

We detected a leak coming through the ceiling and called for a plumber right away. Steve's Plumbing was the first to respond and they let us know we'd be contacted within the hour. Two hours later we received a call and was told to expect someone shortly. Levi arrived and assessed the situation, recommending a leak test be done. Three holes in the ceiling and $729 later, Brendan was able to identify the source of our leak, and recommended we replace a section of the pipe.

The pipe replacement was done quickly and we also opted for additional preventative maintenance be done throughout the house. Brendan was very professional and provided insight into what we should keep an eye on. I would provide additional stars, but didn't care for the fact that they ask an additional fee to warranty their work. I'm not sure if this is an industry standard, so take that with a grain of salt.

Randy came out to survey my home for a whole house water purification system. He was so professional, Knowledgeable, kind, and extremely patient with my questions. They do so much more than my current company, I plan to use them in the future.

Your technician Aaron Fernandez came out on time and was very professional and diagnosed the problem with our Rheem water heater and explained on how to get a new water heater from home depot because it is on warranty. I will have you guys come out to change the water heater when the part is available. Also I'm the owner of Pacific island towing LLC and will tow any of your service vans or trucks if they have broken down on the big island, I also do lockouts, gas or jumpstarts, flats and I also do minor onsite repairs like alternator or battery replacement or something minor. Our bathtubs and hot water tank needed attention. We called for a service and they came later that afternoon. Our technician was Wereloe Baluran and he was excellent. Very polite, efficient and confident in his ability to do the job for us. The next day he arrived with a new hot water tank with Josiah to help and they had our old tank out and new one installed within a few hours. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend your company to anyone that needs plumbing and drain work done. 10/10

Leon and Nathan did an incredible job! They helped dislodge a piece of wood that got in the toilet outflow pipes after a renovation. They were courteous, professional, honest and tried everything to avoid having to cut open our brand new tiled floors. Highly recommend them! Service: Drain cleaning

Excellent professional service. Extremely satisfied and will be using this service in the future for all my plumbing needs. I am the GM for a restaurant in kailua kona and this is the first time using their service. The usual provider were busy till the following week. Needed this job done like yesterday. These guys came in. Got the job done in a very efficient manner. Leon handled himself in a very professional manner as well as the other plumber Nathan I believe his name was. Great job both of you.

Kevin was our plumber and he was professional, timely and explained everything that needed replacement/repair. We had several issues and had them taken care of, with a more complex issue quote given via email and same day scheduled on the same day. Great service. Jamie and his partner were very professional, courteous and complied with covid safety in our home. They went over and beyond what I expected. I'm impressed with the work, communication and overall niceness of this team.

Leon and his apprentice were helpful and professional. I had many plumbing concerns as we just moved into this older home. After explaining all the needed repairs they were able to complete two of the more urgent things and then plan on doing the remaining repairs when possible. I am very pleased and look forward to the completion of the work.
