Excellent service. This company helped me when my kitchen flooded. Not a fun time to need a plumber, but when you do you want someone who can lend a helping hand. I've got them working on other things now to prevent such mishaps in the future. Highly suggest ALL new homeowners give them a call and have them inspect your home immediately after you close and preferably right before or just after you move in!

I live in MT. Desperate for honesty from a professional, I called Straight Shooter located across state lines due to their high customer review rating. Steve did a tele-assessment and sent his crew out next day. That crew, Brandt and Nick, worked tirelessly into the night to fix all the shoddy work that had been done by other plumbing crews. Though I am far away and must pay a travel fee, I am reluctant to even consider another plumber ever again. For those of you in my area (Sanders County, Montana), consider this crew. They are worth every penny!

When you have a backed up kitchen sink everything stops. Of course it always happens on a weekend. We contacted Straight Shooter Plumbing on Sunday and they scheduled us for the next day. We called them because we had called them once before to replace a broken hot water tank (on a weekend) and it was a very good experience. They arrived on time and got straight to work.

We had a plugged drain on a sink with a garbage disposal. During inspection it was determined the clog was indeed inside the disposal and the guys were able to clean it out and get the whole thing working again. Both guys were very professional courteous and took great care to keep everything clean and dry. I was extremely happy with the quick response, the work performed and the fair pricing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable plumber!

Moved a well filter from under my house to the side of it so that I didn't have to crawl under the house (with all the spiders) anymore. Opening up home after winter closure resulted in broken main water valve. Contacted Straight Shooter Plumbing for emergency situation on a weekend. They sent out Technician Jacob Love within hours of my call. Jacob was very professional. Not only did he fix main problem he checked and double checked every system in the home to assure everything functional. He also gave me great advice on better winterizing plumbing. It is a distinct pleasure to write this review for Straight Shooter Plumbing and Rooter of Hayden, Idaho. Simply the BEST Licensed Idaho Plumber we have used in the last 12 years. Straight Shooter is the BEST in professional knowledge, the BEST in skill installation, the BEST in attitude, the BEST in price, and the BEST in scheduling our job to be done immediately. "Immediately" is unheard of in North Idaho at this time because most plumbers won't do maintenance work because they make more money doing new construction.

Neither do most plumbers call you back; or, if you get a call-back, it is later than sooner, and you are at the end of the line in their install schedule. Getting a superb licensed plumber in North Idaho for household plumbing care is one of the most frustrating aspects of contemporary life. From a Google Search of nearby City of Hayden, we cold-called Straight Shooter Plumbing and Rooter on Tuesday, and to our complete surprise, our call was answered by the owner, Steve, himself!

He instantly scheduled a visit the next morning, Wednesday, and he came, he diagnosed all our problems created by our previous plumber, he identified the solutions, and he had an electronic, itemized bid to us that same evening at a fair price: to de-install the bad job of the first plumber, and to install 3 new 55 gallon water heaters in "parallel, " with "L" copper piping, soldered, and our gas joints re-worked and corrected from the mistakes made by the first plumbing company so that our existing gas appliances and heater were not affected.

Not only that, Steve was able to get 55 gallon heaters, (50 gallons are easily available, but not 55 gallons) and he was able to come, himself, with his partner, Nick, with all the necessary equipment needed for the job, and install our complicated job, completely to our satisfaction, 6 business days later from our first meeting! This is significant!

With all that Straight Shooter does so well in plumbing, it is topped by their "can-do, " "will-do, " "want-to-help you as soon as possible" attitude. We want Straight Shooter to be our licensed plumber, for life. Yes, WE RECOMMEND STRAIGHT SHOOTER PLUMBING, AND WE GIVE THEM OUR HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! Working with Steve and Nick was a pleasure. They were clear about the solution to the problem I had here, told me what to expect and delivered. No surprises. These guys charge less than half the competition does to come out and repair my water heater. Turns out the whole unit needed to be replaced and only had a larger size available! They were able to replace the unit custom to the small space. Ask for Nick he knows his craft.

We called Steve around 2:00 PM due to our toilet not flushing right. He was at our house by 3:00 PM to take care of the problem! Steve was very expeditious, upbeat, & professional. We've been without a washing machine for almost 2 weeks. Steve, with Straight Shooter Plumbing, does excellent work! Plus, he is very nice and professional which is equally important. He was very prompt when our water restoration project manager (JJ with AllKlean) reached out to him. He came right over and helped fix a couple leaks under our sink. He fully replaced the pipes and valves. After completing the repair, we explained we'd like to consider having him back to help with some other projects.

He gave us estimates on upgrades like moving our water shut off valve to the garage and adding a water filtration system and or a water softener. He can also extend our bathroom from one sink bowl to two sink bowls. Both of these would be lovely upgrades. I'd highly recommend Steve to help you with your plumbing needs!
