I'm thrilled that I discovered Renaissance! My rug was in dire need of repair, and Randy and Val did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. They're incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I am absolutely delighted with my newly repaired rug. A huge thank you to them!

I had a concerning incident involving a rug—a cut along the edge of a beautiful Tibetan rug. Upon recommendation from a trusted rug expert in Eugene, I contacted Renaissance in a panic for assistance. After sending photos of the damage, they promptly identified the issue and explained how they could help.

To my relief, I brought the rug to Portland where Renaissance repaired it on the spot. The service was exceptional, and the repair they performed was flawless and practically invisible. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost—it was much lower than I had anticipated. The people at Renaissance were wonderful—they even gave me a tour of their facility where they clean fine rugs, and I was thoroughly impressed.

From now on, Renaissance is my go-to for rug services, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to others, including my clients. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Val did a great job patching up a 3-day old rug that my dogs chewed a hole in. It is unnoticeable! Thanks Val!

This is a wonderful, family owned business. They use a non-toxic process to clean rugs, and are very friendly and easy to work with. The colors in the oriental recently inherited from my mother really "pop" after cleaning. Highly recommended!

I took my Zapotec rug in to be cleaned. Holy Guacamole, I can't believe how beautifully it turned out. The colors are now really vivid - I'm almost hesitant to walk on it again. Great work, reasonable prices.

I brought an large ~12'x14' rug in to be cleaned. I had no idea about the real condition of the rug, but I did know it was old and not in the best shape. Unfortunately the rug tore while being cleaned. Renaissance informed me of the problem and expertly repaired it to the point that I can't even tell where the damage was. It looks the best it ever has. I will definitely use them again.

Renaissance rugs have done great work on my rugs! One needed the fringe replaced and they got a match better than the previous repair- and within budget! They are true to their word on being timely too. I have more to go soon

I've been a customer of Renaissance Rug Cleaning for many years. I trust them to take care of my rugs. I've recently been back to get my rugs cleaned after dealing with frequent urination on my rugs by my two dogs. My efforts to clean it up only seem to make it worse and the smell was unbearable. Whenever people came over I apologized for the urine smell. After being cleaned by Renaissance Rug Cleaning, my rugs and my house no longer smell like dog pee and I feel confident inviting people over again.

I have been using Renaissance Rug Cleaning since moving to Portland ten years ago. They are great. I just 8 rugs (up to 10 X 12) cleaned with no problems or complaints. They picked up the rugs for cleaning and laid them back down within two weeks.

We had an emergency with a massive stain on our rug. We called another rug cleaning company that we had used for over 20 years and they were less than helpful. First, they really could not give us any suggestions of what to do at home and second, they were totally unavailable to pick up the rug for a week. We found about Renaissance and called them.

They were wonderful. We received instructions on what to do on an urgent basis (it worked) and then they picked up the rug that day. The delivery folk were wonderful. The cleaning was superb. They were able to clean the wool and silk rugs so it looked new. Well we now know who to call!

People who value fine rugs (Persian, or other) can trust Randy and his crew for their knowledge and delicate care. They do a fine job in cleaning and restoring such rugs, while paying exquisite attention to details. Randy (the owner) understands the value of such pieces of art, and treats them artfully.

We have had our small and large oriental rugs cleaned here for years due to the excellent care and warm, knowledgable service that Randy & team provide. All are generous with sharing their knowledge of and enthusiasm for oriental rugs, as well as, being very accomodating with pick up and delivery, if needed.

The real deal. rug nerds who love to help people keep their rugs looking clean and cared for. I've had three flat weave hard-working rugs cleaned and repaired here. Also replaced the non-skid pads. The cost is reasonable, service is excellent and informed, and my rugs look new again- ready for another year or two of hard use.

Mouse chewed a piece out of my rug and Renaissance repaired to the point of invisibility. And since rug served as a rug in a wet bar for some 25 years it also needed a thorough cleaning. The colors are now vibrant and I assume as close to original as it will get. Many thanks for a great job in revitalizing my rug.

My silk rug looked beautifully new and fresh. It had been my mother's rug and I had no idea how crisp the colors were and that the background and fringe were creamy white. This is the second rug I have brought to Renaissance and both have been easy, good experiences for me and the rugs.

Fantastic! Renaissance did a super job on 5 of my rugs - persian, afghani and turkish. Their work is meticulous and very reasonably priced (especially compared to several of the other rug cleaners/repairers in town.) They gave me a little tour of their facilities, which was fascinating, and which clearly showed the individual attention they give to each rug. Plus, their turnaround time is great. If I could give them ten stars I would!

Great service! They are very knowledgeable and very nice. Got five carpets and a wall hanging cleaned, including some moth damage stopped. They also repair, but my carpet would need repair that costs what the carpet does do they said if I liked it enough to keep it they could fixed the edges of holes to keep them from getting worse. I highly recommend them and will take my carpets there in the future too
