Like many people who experience the shock of a flooding disaster in their home, we had a similar experience just recently. After calling a handful of companies and being told they were busy, we called 1-800 Water Damage and they came riding in to the rescue. The team was detailed, efficient, and answered all our questions without hesitation or obfuscation.

When I had an indoor flood in my home I called a friend who is a plumber. He recommended that I call Doug at 1-800-Water-Damage. When Doug came out to assess the damage to my home he helped me understand the process of clean up, working with my insurance, and reconstruction of my property. His team did a great job of communicating with me about when they would be in my home and what they would be doing. Doug stayed involved with me during the whole process.

When they were finished there were a couple of items that didn't quite meet my expectations. This wasn't because a lack of effort on the company's part, but due to my lack of communicating better in the first place. Doug didn't make any excuses or take advantage of me. Instead he immediately came over to consult with me and walk through the concerns I had.

The next thing I knew his team was back in my home addressing these issues and leaving me a very happy customer and grateful homeowner. They were great to work with! They were at the house within the hour of my phone call and had the whole room, carpet and walls cut and fans going before they left for the night. Reconstruction went well and they worked very well with us to ensure we were happy with the service we received from the sub contractors and handled all the insurance communication. They made a horrible mess bearable and restored it to better than it was!

We had a great experience with 1800WaterDamage. The staff was friendly, efficient and professional. They got the job done in a timely manner and never had an issue if we needed to adjust the scheduling. I came home after a weekend away and found a few inches of water in my crawl space. I called Doug with 1-800 Water Damage and he came over immediately to take a look. A big thanks to Doug Stern and 1 800 Water Damage! Being in the Real Estate business for the past 10 years we run into a lot of home inspection reports with claims of mold. Mold is never something you want to see on an inspection report. Doug always comes out to investigate and on the last two transaction he has identified that there was actually no mold and that what the inspector saw was dirt on wood.
