I was very happy with the service I received. Max, the lead technician, came to my home when scheduled and did a free assessment. I feel like they did enough to ensure my home was free of mold and water damage. Yet they were careful not to charge me for unnecessary remediation. Their price and Analysis was better than 2 other companies I checked. I also had the pleasure of meeting Rob, the owner of the company, when payment was due. He too was very kind and professional.

I have had more causes to use water restoration companies than I care to admit. I have used several different companies over the years and have had excellent experiences and really terrible experiences. I have used 1-800-Water Damage twice now and have had nothing but exceptional service each time. They are definitely my first choice. It is with great pleasure I highly recommend 1-800 WATER DAMAGE of Colorado Springs. Two behind the wall and ceiling drain pvc pipes had cracked and split. After the pipes were replaced, noticeable mold had been festering for several months in the affected area. I contacted three local companies for an estimate to accomplish the task of removing sheet rock and carpeting in the affected areas.

Also to mitigate the mold in the surrounding area. I was more intent on receiving high quality service opposed to the lowest bid. The company I chose is owned by Robert Cristinzio. Rob personally was on site to ensure his crew new exactly what had to be done and made certain it was done in an efficient and timely manner. I am very pleased with the outcome.

And as one final accolade for Rob and his team, the job was not only accomplished in a superior manner but almost cost out at the lowest of the three bids. Once again I have the distinct pleasure of highly recommending 1-800 WATER DAMAGE of Colorado Springs!

This is the second time that 1-800 Water Damage has helped us, and we have been very impressed with their professionalism, promptness, expertise, and kindness. They have always treated our losses with the utmost care and sensitivity, just as if our losses were theirs. Most recently, we had a catastrophic water event that devastated our entire kitchen and basement, and affected multiple peripheral spaces throughout our house.

From the minute I called them late in the night at Christmastime, they were immediately responding. Rob, the owner, personally answered my call after-hours and during the holiday. He carefully explained the process to me, answered all of my questions, and without any haste whatsoever, coordinated Katie, Anna, and the rest of the excellent team, including himself, to take wonderful care of us.

Since then, most of my contact has been with Katie, as she has managed the damage on site, and done most of the necessary demo. The honesty and caring principles of the company itself are clearly reflected through each representative: Rob, Katie, Anna, and everyone with whom I have dealt. The prior owner and patriarch of the original family business, Michael Whittmore, has also reached out to me, and took the trouble, with Katie, to attend my insurance meeting to help me in his new capacity doing reconstruction management.

During a time which is overwhelming and confusing to me, it's such a relief that these guys have stepped up above and beyond. It's no surprise that this company started as an industrious family business, and continues now with the same family members under Rob's conscientious ownership, in the same spirit. Rob came to give me an estimate on some inactive mold removal at our house after getting an astronomical estimate from another company. It was the other companies minimum charge. So pleased with the prompt and attentive service when the refrigerator line leaked all over my kitchen and even down to my basement ceiling. Rob and his team were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional in their evaluation and assessment of the damage. The price was right to get the job done! I would highly recommend their services if you have any water or sewer damage issues.

Katie came out promptly and was super helpful! I was worried that there were some serious mold issues in my basement bathroom and that it would cost me big time. But she came out and told me that there was nothing to worry about and gave me a few options for taking care of surface mold. She didn't even charge me and was extremely professional and knowledgable! Plus I got stung by a wasp as I was about to meet her in my driveway, so she saw me in some real agony. So I think we're best friends now.

We had a pipe leak on the first floor of our house and the water went from there down to our basement. Big Mess! This was on a Sunday evening and 1 800 Water Damage was wonderful. Mike and his crew came out that evening and started the mitigation and explained to us what all the next steps would be. They handled the mitigation and then Mike organized all the necessary restoration personnel and dealt with the insurance company. They did a fantastic job and are great people to work with. It is nice to know that if I have a water damage emergency, regardless of what time it is, I can call the emergency number. 1800 water damage came to our rescue when we had a big sewer backup into our basement laundry room/storage room. They came out first thing in the morning and cleaned up everything. I was embarrassed by all the gunk and wanted to clean before they came out, but they said no they had machines to take care of that problem. They threw away what was not salvageable and disinfected the rest. Katie was very helpful and called often to see where we stood as other problems needed to be addressed. I had a ton of water in my crawl space (clean space, so it wouldn't drain). It was practically a swimming pool. They came out quickly, were able to accommodate with the equipment.they couldn't bring it down the stairs, because they were damaged and couldn't hold the weight. They got all the water out and the space dried, so there is no moldy smell. I would definitely use them again.

A garbage disposal leak uncovered what could've potentially been a serious water damage issue in my recently purchased home - thankfully Mike from 1800 water damage got to my home within an hour of my initial call, explained what needed to happen, & then the very next morning came out & inspected all the potentially damaged areas. Thankfully everything received a clean bill of health, however in the process he uncovered a few other minor leaks that, fixing now, will save me a bundle later.

His team also includes a drywaller, so the small holes that were cut to inspect will be fixed without me having to find someone else. I would recommend their services to anyone!
