Our home was renovated by JLV for another couple who then were relocated before moving in. When we bought the house Jose came over voluntarily to demonstrate everything and answer all of our questions. The customer service (from Jose to Beth in the office) has remained excellent ever since. The quality of the work is exceptional. We have had no problems at all, even when the area was so affected by hurricane Ida. We would definitely use JLV again for any project.

It’s been a great experience building our new home with José, Daniel Escoto, Ben Dendy and everyone else. The work is clean, tight and on point, and they’re always on top of staying in communication with you, keeping you up to speed with whats going on, and giving you appropriate advance notice about when various choices need to be made. We have used JLV for major work on our home, after 2 hurricanes, and a tornado, which caused considerable damage to our home. The roof they installed in 2017, did not loose any seal tab shingles, from Hurricane IDA, unlike many of our neighbor’s roofs. Also, the 6’ wooden fence they installed after they the 2017 tornado, held up fine, after Hurricane IDA’s fierce winds. I highly recommend JLV for all of your interior and exterior needs.

They did a complete renovation of the house we eventually purchased. Their craftsmanship is outstanding. The house is phenomenal with a hundred perfect little touches.
We had a minor issue after move-in. With one phone call, they responded almost immediately and they had the repair complete long before I ever expected. I would recommend without reservation.

JLV Construction performs outstanding construction and renovation work. Solid craftsmanship with details that hold the eye. JLV is particularly adept at restoring historical homes while preserving the architectural charm that is unique to New Orleans. It goes without saying that Jose and his team are restoring New Orleans one house at a time.

We were lucky to find JLV construction. We talked to a few contractors on a major home renovation in New Orleans, we went with Jose and team for his considerate approach to the project, give-and-take on recommendations, and touring some of his other projects. We did the renovation as absentee owners, living out-of-state at the time. The project went smoothly, on time, it would have been on budget except we chose a number of upgrades.
I've worked with Jose on two other projects since then, JLV Construction is our go-to on any projects in town.

JLV has completed several projects for me over the course of 2 years. They stay on schedule and within the agreed upon budget. Jose, the owner, and Daniel, the project manager I work with, are very professional, hardworking and knowledgeable. All of the subs and workers on site are respectful and courteous. Any issues that arise are handled quickly and thoroughly. I recommend them to anyone for new construction or renovations. Beyond all this, they are fundamentally good people, and I enjoy working with them.
