Neil has worked as a securities analyst at Standard & Poor's and from 1976 to 1979 he worked as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group which provides corporate strategy assistance to Fortune 500 companies. Neil has been a partner of Venture West since it was organized in 1981, and has served as CEO of Peter Piper, Inc. from 1998 to 2004.

Went out on Sunday 26/09/21 , with Sandy . The boat was excellent , and after giving us safety information we set off . We started by seeing the Cormorants and Gannets and next was the seals with their pups. Sandy gave us a good time with them , and we moved on round the island where Sandy pointed out a pair of Sea Eagles soaring above us , and again gave us time to watch them on the wing .
The Corryvrekan Whirlpools were breathtaking and the way Sandy took us through them was brilliant. Next up round Scoba we saw wild mountain Goats clinging on for fear life , then out round Scoba , and heading

We had a fantastic day yesterday. We chartered Venture West for the day for our party of 9. Mia was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. The boat was great with plenty of room to sit outside and plenty of room inside if the weather turned ad. We saw golden eagles, sea eagles, porpoises and LOADS of minke whales. We also stopped off at Colonsay for a while, where there was an excellent little café. Sandy was a great skipper. I would recommend this very, very highly.

A fantastic and highly recommend boat trip. Went on the whirlpool and animal based tour and was fantastic. We got to see seals and white tailed sea eagles, as well as the whirlpool. Venture-West have ensured that all trips are currently set up to provide a safe tour during COVID-19 restrictions, and provide indoor and outdoor seating to cater for all weather conditions. The driver was extremely knowledgeable of the local area, history and animals and was always happy to answer questions. Binoculars were also provided for guests to use during the trip to help see the animals. Highly recommend.

My wife and I took our two kids on a boat trip to see some wildlife and the islands. We were made to feel welcome and the captain was really friendly. All through the trip he pointed things out and was very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend Venture-West Boat Charters to anyone that wants to see Argyle from the water!
