I had a bought an older home and realized there was a leak in my living room. I reached out to Shane at NL Skinner and he quickly swung by to repair my roof. Once Shane was able to get on my roof, he was able to explain to me why my issues were more serious than a leak. He replaced my roof instead and the transformation was night and day. Once the new roof was on, I could see how the old shingles were never attached correctly allowing for leaks to take place. Skinner Home Improvement did a fantastic job repairing my garage roof after a tree fell on it and damaged it. They came so quickly and did the whole job in just one day. I was impressed with how Trent sent me photos while I was at work to keep me apprised of how the work was going. The roof is beautiful! They did a fantastic job and it looks perfect! They cleaned up beautifully as well. You would never know they had even been there working. I would highly recommend them and will personally never use any other company.

N.L. Skinner came highly recommended from a neighbor and I'm glad I called them because our new roof looks great. Trent Skinner quickly responded to my calls and kept in touch with me thru the whole process. The roofing crew removed the old roof and installed the new one in a day. Trent even had his crew install a new roof on my shed with matching shingles, per my request. The crew working on the house was polite & professional. Trent's guys did such a great job on our roof. We had hail damage and Trent worked with our insurance adjuster. Trent worked with us to decide on shingle color and type. All of his workers worked very hard and had the roof completed within a day. The moved patio furniture and flower pots and then laid down tarps to protect plants and patio. They cleaned up after they were finished. Trent gave us a good price for the roofing replacement. I highly recommend his company for any roofing job.

We contacted NL Skinner to replace our sidings and gutters after we had trouble with other companies that continued to push off start dates and were non-responsive. NL Skinner came out the next day to look at the work required and worked with our insurance company to get additional items included in the repair, such as gutter guards; which not many other companies would do this. I had hail damage to my 100 plus year old home. They have been fantastic to work with. Handling everything beautifully and keeping me calm in the process. I have a new roof, new siding, new gutters and will have new awnings soon. They will walk with you making sure you are happy each step of the way. By the time they are done you will not only be happy and proud of your home you will have new friends as well. Fantastic roofer. If you're looking for the best roofer in the area, look no further. Just a few weeks ago Skinner Home Improvements installed a beautiful shake roof, which is a cedar shake look done in asphalt. The shingles are difficult to work with because they have to be placed in uneven rows, almost like a jigsaw puzzle. Also, the shingles are in smaller sheets than regular shingles. Trent, the owner, showed up with about 8 men. They worked from 8am until 9pm at night each day. These men, Trent, & his brother Shane, are first class craftsmen.
