In 1982 Timbercon Builders was formed in Ft. Worth, Texas with the thought of helping Churches wade through the construction process with minimal stress for everyone. The idea of providing a professional Church construction experience from "concept to completion" to him, seemed to be long overdue.
Rick Shuck was hired as Vice President in charge of construction after he and his brother lived on site to complete the first ever San Antonio project, Abiding Presence Lutheran Church on 281 N. at Brookhollow.That project finished one month early and significantly under budget. The company grew from there and Church facilities were built all over the State of Texas.
Timbercon has built hundreds of Church facilities with the only advertising being the willingness of pleased Church people telling others. Timbercon has been blessed by a number of very loyal and talented employees and a number of them have been with the company for over two decades. 41 years in the construction industry and business owner for 34 years.
