Babe's head guy, Chip, is very good and generally responsive by phone and email. He was helpful and timely with designing a planting bed for us. The scheduling took longer than planned, but it was acceptable.
Recently, a crew came with a spray truck to do the mulching of larger beds. After the spraying was done, one guy worked a leaf blower to tidy the mulch that sprayed onto the lawn while the other guy sat in the truck on his phone. They abruptly announced that they were leaving because the truck guy was late getting to the Cape to go fishing

I live at Rosemeade in Southbridge and Babe's does the lawncare here and I thought that they couldn't be as bad as they were last season but they are and I'm only seeing the lawn on the side closest to Worcester Street! They fly through here missing strips of grass, skip the fence trimming altogether. A month ago there was a guy doing some work around a building and he had the gross habit of spitting every few minutes. Last year they weed whacked my solar lights contacted them they didn't really care looked out today and there they were I saw it with my own eyes one of the guys we whacked my brand new solar lights again. Contacted them with no response. You can tell they don't care for the little people anymore. Such a shame

We had used babes lawn care for almost 7 years. Last year when they let the lawn get knee high they said they couldn't mow my lawn anymore. That they couldn't make any money off of it. I understand the need to make money and came to an agreement by increasing the price by $45 per mowing. I actually fostered the agreement because it was high growth spring and we really had no other options. When snow removal time came around they notified us one week before the first big snowstorm that they would not be able to move snow that they were concentrating on their commercial contracts. This

UNRELIABLE! Hired Babe's to do lawn and snow removal. First snow storm, did not show up. I called and they said there was a communication issue, they apologized and reassured me they will come in the future. The second snow storm they came. The third large snow storm that ended at 8 pm, they did not show up. Thankfully, my neighbor came and helped us with his snow blower.

Can you swear in an online review? If I could spit in the owners face I would for hiring such disrespectful workers. I have a 5 month old here at home, she was fast asleep this morning at 9am when a leaf blower is started outside our window Not even 4 ft away from where my daughter was fast asleep. I went outside to have a conversation with the man who seemed to forget where he was and I come to realize, ITS THE SAME DISRESPECTFUL GUY I TOLD 2 WEEKS EARLIER NOT TO START A LEAF BLOWER OUTSIDE MY DAUGHTERS BEDROOM. UNRELIABLE!!!! I can't tell you how many times they said they would be here on a certain date &/or time & never showed up or arrived hours later. I can understand that things happen, but at least CALL. One of their employees told me that they have a big client & whenever they need something, the smaller jobs get cancelled. Not a good way to do business!
