I needed my tankless hot water heater replaced did not have to run any wires or pipes just replace the one I had. When the guys showed up he started getting all cocky about how this wasn't the right unit I said it's been in here for 14 years I just want it replaced. He told me $4000 and if I want the right one it's $5000. I bought the same unit off Amazon for $275 took me 30 minutes to replace biggest rip off company I have ever seen will never ever allow them near my house buyers beware. They thought I was desperate and they were trying to take advantage of me.

Beware! They are liars and thieves! Our toilet was continuously running and we called plumbing nerds for repair. He said we needed a whole new toilet (over $800) We knew this was untrue and said we wanted a repair. Reluctantly he presented a quote for over $500. Called someone else and the part needed was $12 and 15 minutes of labor.

From start to finish this company were great. Arrived when they said and explained, in depth, exactly what the problem was. From their customer service to the work that was carried out, i have nothing but great things to say. Actually refreshing to have a specialist crew who are friendly, knowledgable and do the work when they say. Would 100% recommend and will use again. Just had a great experience with this outfit.
Very responsive and professional. We needed a job done in the shower and an outside faucet. George was amazing. He walked us through the problems and the answers, gave us a fair estimate and completed the job without a hitch. Great company . Ask for George.

I don't see my original review here.. so I am sending it in again.. and I wish I had been home when the tech was at the house.. But $800 for less than 3 hours work, to install a new sink and new faucet in the kitchen. The tech said there was a problem...OK, fine. But if done in 3 hours, how do you justify $800? The ploy was to tell my wife it could end up $1200 in order to make her feel good that it was ONLY $800.
I realize this review is an outlier compared to the many fine reviews here. But seriously this looks like it was straight out of the how to fleece an elderly woman playbook

The gentleman that came from Plumbing Nerds was a nice guy, seemed knowledgeable and performed the work as I expected. My 2-star rating only is in regard to pricing. I purchased and had ready a new Kohler Toilet and it was what would be considered....a standard, easy install. In addition, we also had the company replace the internal guts of the toilet in our other bathroom, It took the guy an hour and a half if that. My bill was $619. This seems an exorbitant amount all things considered. I wouldn't use them again, but rather would try to find a more reasonably priced plumbing contractor

After receiving the bad news that a complete re-piping of my home was necessary, I anticipated a few holes for access inside my home, and care to secure my home from infiltration of pests. I ended up with multiple very large holes in almost every room which were left open to my crawl space. I was not given this information until it was impossible for me to cover this access for multiple days. I will never be comfortable with now being in my home knowing what could have entered through multiple holes after the inspector saw a 6 foot snake outside my home!!!!!!!!! How is this acceptable???????

Interesting approach but not for me. I called with a specific problem and asked about rates. They won't say until they come out (for free). So, we scheduled. Two people (one was being trained, it was explained) came out and saw the problem. And preceded to quote me 2.5 times more than the competition. I explained the prices were way out of line. They said they only go by what is in their hand-helds' menu. I explained they wasted my time and their time. Had they been open with their prices and rates beforehand they would not have wasted our time. They explained that reception and dispatch

Communication was excellent, tech was professional and polite. Unfortunately the estimate I received was absolutely rediculous. It was 4 to 5 times the going rate for a licensed professional plumber. And of course than we have the up sell, water softener etc.
Less than an hour job $884......$168 to replace 2 washer hoses, first they are new. Second they are $19 at home depot?
$343.00 to replace a couple feet of copper due to pin hole and corrosion using a shark bite $9 , two hoses $19, and two shut offs ....$21...replacement $372....?
So maybe $55.00 worth of matetials... when did plumbers

Absolutely outstanding service. I was a nervous wreck before Patrick came to my home.
Not only was my toilet full of roots, but I had a suspicion that my homes extension was built over my septic tank.
Not only did I get a 'same day' appointment, but Patrick also Arrive 10 minutes early and preemptively located the septic tank. He also offered to service my 'roots' problem immediately. He was extremely personable, and as an introvert, I found him very easy to talk to.
Seriously, just hire these people.

We have used Plumbing Nerds since they opened and we are so pleased with their service. The plumbers are all well trained and professional. The service is prompt and they go out of their way to fully inform the customers as to what the problem is and how it can be corrected. What's also great is that they give you options on the best repair or replacement. You can go with the very expensive or the very well priced depending on your budget. They stand behind their work and everyone from the office to the crew is tip-top! Our plumber is Jan and he is by far the best ever.

My son moved into a new house and the line for water/ice to fridge didn't work. People who came with new fridge said it was clogged. Phoned a few plumbers who stated floor would need to be ripped up etc., which would be costly.
Plumbing Nerds showed up the day I called. Stated a much cheaper solution would be to install an "ice box" behind the fridge. Then run a line through the attic. My son went with Plumbing nerds because they explained to him everything with the installation. The cost was much more palatable then others who wanted to rip up floor. They didn't have

Plumbing Nerds set an appointment within a couple days after my call to them for a non-emergency situation.
Marc called with great news....my leaking backflow prevention valve was not closed correctly, thus leaking.
He only charged me the standard trip charge of $75 and I was good to go!
He tightened a loose valve screw!
Great efficiency & honesty!
Will definitely recommend & use them again.
