Friedges completed our landscaping at our new home about a week ago. I would highly recommend. Jim Peterreins was excellent to work with. He was responsive, flexible, and a great resource for questions and ideas. The crew that installed the irrigation system, sod, and mulch beds (led by Samuel) was fantastic, and did great work. Overall, we are extremely satisfied, and we have already received compliments from our neighbors.

It’s such a shame that you guys hire people that are so unprofessional and inconsiderate that I even feel it’s necessary to go out of my way now and write a bad review. I’m a subcontractor that works along side with you guys day in and day out. Your employee come yelling and swearing at me because my truck was parked in-front of the lot being worked on and a dump truck needed to get in. But instead of nicely asking to move he resorts into swearing and yelling. If your company moved the two at the moment non occupied and yet still running on idle trucks and the trailer parked in-front of the

Purchased bulk mulch and had it delivered. It was delivered early in the day but had several small rocks in it. They must use the same trucks for both rock and mulch deliveries. Also ran out so drove there to pick up bagged mulch. They do not have the exact same color in bags which is unfortunate but it is close enough that I don't think most people will notice. The biggest issue I have is that their bagged mulch has a definite odor to it almost like manure. Really hoping it dissipates in a couple days!

This company was used by my City for restoration after a road reconstruction project. I was left with a "trashed 1/3 of my lawn...corner lot. They did hydroseeding and watering (over watering) and results are awful. Their contract includes them coming back now to try to get some grass but based on their initial results and interaction with some of their workers I will be hiring my own company to "restore" my turf and have asked that Friedges not do any more work on my lawn. They are that bad.

Had an appointment at noon today with Jim to look at an area of our yard that had drainage issues and was looking for some suggestions. He was very helpful, gave us a fair quote and said although they were pretty booked since our job was small they could fit us in tomorrow. As he was leaving he said if possible he would get his crew to my house this afternoon to get the job done if they wrapped up their other project for the day early. Arrived back home a few hours later to Seth and his crew working on the backyard like discussed. Had one concern which I addressed with Seth, he called Jim for clarification

We had a paver patio done with landscaping, stone pillars and sitting wall. We also had a fountain/pond put in the front of our yard. We had a great experience from start to finish. Jim, Ross, Sean, Daryl,… and the rest of their team were friendly, approachable, ethical and hard working. Beautiful work that is done right, best value compared to some more expensive competitors, and a really talented team! Our project was done in June 2014. So Happy!
