He took a look at my problem and immediately suggested I didn’t as much of a repair as I suspected. I have now used Mike twice. A few years ago he replaced my leaking water heater. I was able to get a quick quote over the phone, and the repair was scheduled very quickly and work done cleanly and very well. Most recently my garbage disposal stopped working and my sink and dishwasher started to back up. I called a few plumbers and appliance repair companies first and all either could not get to me in a week or could only commit to coming out for a visit for a quote that would require a second visit for the work. I was looking to replace my 13 year old water heater and called Excellent Plumbing to get a quote. I provided all the information to Mike and he gave me a quote over the phone. I really appreciated this because most of times contractors need to conduct a home visit. Mike was professional and answered all my questions before I agreed to the job. Mike is a responsive, knowledgeable and flexible plumber! He responded to us after business hours and was able to give us a quote immediately. He was upfront about costs and then did the work of replacing my basement bathroom toilet, installing a vanity, and installing a faucet with care and precision. And, when my new flooring began to bow under the toilet because the concrete underneath wasn't level, he came back to prevent the toilet from rocking! Very grateful for the help. Would Recommend.

The company name is very misleading. it should be called "Expensive Plumbing." They came to my rental property to unclog a couple of drains in the house. Charged me $396 for about an hour's work. If you've ever used a plumber before, you know this is an excessive charge and I thought I was being taken advantage of. I was out of town and these were new tenants and I had to have the work done immediately. If it wasn't such an emergency, I would have thrown them out before they did the job. I called the owner to see if he would reconsider his charge and he declined

My experience with "Excellent" plumbing was not a good one. Mike Dhima spent 3 1/2 hours here, dug one 4 foot hole, patched a small leak in a 4 inch pipe and charged me $1000. In addition, I was entitled to a 10% first customer discount and a 5% senior discount, both of which were denied. To be fair, Mike's work was ok, but charging more than $250 an hour, in my opinion was way out of line. I would certainly not use him again and would absolutely not recommend him to anyone.
