When in doubt, make the call. Peace of mind and perhaps preventing a larger problem from developing is worth the price of a plumbing visit.
When a drain backs up, it could be a simple clog in the bend of the pipes, or it could indicate a clog in the water main or sewer line. Over time the oils and paper products that are flushed through sink, bathtub and toilet pipes can accumulate in the larger pipes that lead from the house to the main sewer line.
Water won't drain? Toilet keeps overflowing? A slow draining sink, toilet, or tub will develop mineral and soap stains from standing water that can be difficult or impossible to remove. Backed up drains, toilets, showers, sinks and garbage disposals disrupt your daily routine. They can also indicate larger problems, such as a sewer backup.

While visiting my elderly aunt last week, I discovered that she had a leak from her shower. She had not been down in the basement so I was not sure how long it had been going on. Being from out of town I asked a few of my aunt's neighbors. I called a couple of places and then called Boise Valley Plumbing. The were great about coming the next day finding the issue and resolving it. They gave my aunt a senior discount which was very generous. I am grateful that they came so quickly so that I could be there with my aunt. She is apprehensive about strangers in her house The plumber and his assistant

Big shout out to these guys for 10 out of 10 service. I called them out to my grandparents house when their hot water heater broke leaving them with no hot water. Boise Valley Plumbing turned up with a smile on their face and carefully explained the problem without trying to over exaggerate the job just to make more money. They showed them what the problem was and explained what parts needed to be replaced and why. I can't thank them enough. Honest & reliable service.
