Our Air/heating unit froze up, just in time for Christmas!! I called and they moved things around so they could get someone out here the next morning. Hadley was here right on schedule!! Very professional and polite. He explained everything and was able to temporarily fix it so we had heat for our holiday company. Unfortunately our unit is old and we need a new one. We'll be using 6 & Fix for the replacement unit. Fantastic 12 year warranty! Thanks for taking care of us!!!

Hadley from 6andFix visited us again as part of our annual HVAC servicing plan after he previously upgraded our home with smart thermostats. He arrived on schedule, answered all our questions about how we can improve air quality in our home and even took the time to make sure all of our alarms (smoke and CO) were working properly after servicing the furnace units. Colby Dennis did a great job on heating maintenance for both of our systems. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He also noted that the condensation pan float switch could have been wired in a more effective way. He went ahead and rewired so it would turn the entire unit off if triggered instead of just halting the compressor.
I had a technician named Colby Young who did our A/C maintenance back in the spring. Colby Y was great as well. He noted that the original installer wired the fan speed incorrectly and he proceeded to correct it.

I called Six&Fix today as my AC started making a weird new buzzing noise after there was a power outage. Their technician, Colby Dennis, arrived that same day and quickly diagnosed the issue and explained what the issue was, changed the filters in the house and checked the ducts to make sure they were clear. He also let me know that if i renewed my membership, which is basically an extended warranty, on my AC unit I'd only have to pay for the service call and I like their membership as it's saved me money on previous service calls. I'm super happy with the service and Colby's work on my AC.

As far as I can tell they do a quality job with the installation, maintenance, and repairs (I am not an HVAC technician, but have not had problems on that end). My complaint comes in the ways in which they are not forthcoming with their pricing and how much you will be charged. We bought a new unit through them and I was assured repeatedly that we were getting a 12-month no interest loan on the unit. My thermostat and HVAC system was cycling on and off. I called these guys and the only good thing I can say about this company is they arrived on the same day I called. They found that the condensation tube that goes from the attic to the outside was clogged up. They used compressed are to unclog the pipe and there was a lot of stuff cleared out. They were here about an hour and charged me over $400 dollars for that I feel ripped off. They shouldn't be charging as much as a brain surgeon. I won't be calling them again.

Overall, quite pleased with responsiveness, knowledgeable tech, quality of repair and overall customer service. A step above all the others in the area. However, there are only a couple of points a new customer should know that they don't necessarily explain. One, they require a full service on your system prior to performing any repair. This is to protect them from unforeseen problems after they leave, which is understandable. But, the cost is quite high and will add a significant amount to what you thought would be a basic repair bill. Two, their list price for any repair is about the same, no

Got it fixed next day WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY for $299. It needed 2# of "freon."
Everything else checked out.
Had a THIRD company come out to do maintenance & see if anything was wrong.
Nothing was wrong. Unit checked out well.
THEN I CONFESSED to #3 that we wanted one more opinion. Told the tech about 6 & Fix, then told him about the 2#'s of "freon." Both companies, 2 & 3, said you really cannot properly test a system when the freon was 2#'s low.
6 & Fix never suggested to do that

The first man I spoke with, Greg, was helpful and very easy to work with. He broke technical information down so well I easily understood it.
The crew that did the job was on time, professional, polite, and performed the work without disturbing me at all.
It was a big job - they replaced all the ducts in my house and split the air/heat into zones.
They completed the job in one and a half days, cleaned up (!), and we're very pleasant.
I'm very happy to recommend them unreservedly.

My fiance called them to have our AC system at our rental condo looked at. After charging us for diagnostics they came back with a bill of $5,000 to fix it or even more to replace it. I called a different company to look at it and they fixed it for $300. I was going to fight the diagnostic fee but I don't want to talk to this company again and I recommend you not use them either.

This was the third HVAC repair company I had service a residential central system. These guys were fast and effective. Their technician was able to get to me the same day of the call. He was unafraid of my unit, which is kinda of a buggy model w/too many electronics. Nonetheless, the tech was logical and patient. Whenever he needed to, he called colleagues for input (i.e., he was humble and was focused on the result above all else). I was given two estimates for a repair. The minimum estimate to get my system working was $1947 including tax. It was $579 to clean the coils, $911 to replace the fan motor, and $321 for up to 2 pounds of refrigerant. The full estimate to repair was $6519 with tax. It included the coil cleaning, fan motor, $549 to replace the drain pan, $3647 to replace the evaporator coil, $125 for a safety switch, and $252 for the contactor. I am selling my house and my buyers contacted this company to do an inspection on my HVAC. Per that inspection the gas to my home was shut off because of a hole that was found in the HVAC unit. I was told by Jenna that other issues were also found but because the buyers had not yet paid for the inspection those items could not be disclosed yet. My instinct was to seek someone else's opinion given that they also gave me several other things that they saw that needed repair or 'preventative' work to avoid more problems.
When the other company came in (recommended by the neighborhood), they found the real issue and removed

If there was less than 1 star I would have used it. Our problems started when 6&Fix showed up to perform annual check of our mini-splits. About 1 hour after they technician left one of our units started to leak badly. We asked them back, they said the fix was a special one and not covered by our yearly agreement. Okay, they came and worked on the unit. Two hours after the left all of the mini-split units quit. We called them back. They came back and said they needed a set of fuses.
