At Summit, every project-small or large-is a collaboration between the owner, architect and our team of builders. We carefully guide clients through every step of construction, often including site selection, permitting, budgeting and other pre-construction services, to make the process as stress-free as possible.
Summit and the clients collaborated to create a house that explored the ideas and spirit of the Bay First Tradition, the earliest School of Arts and Crafts architecture in San Francisco area. The design process was inspired by the work of Greene and Greene, Ernest Coxhead and writings of Charles Keeler, a contemporary of Bernard Maybeck.
This highly successful online retail brand wanted to develop a store prototype that was not simply about retail shopping. The core concept was an interior design shop and work space that encouraged contract designers and their clients to explore hundreds of fabric bolts, rug and cloth take-away samples.
