Services
John Guzzo founded the company in 1928 under the name General Construction. He was joined shortly after by his brother Gildo and his son Lino. The company started out as a very small outfit that specialized in sewer and sidewalk construction projects. During the Great Depression years the company kept busy doing WPA projects.
In 2008 Complete General Construction expanded it's already extensive construction capabilities by adding Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC). Since then, we have become one of the leading RCC contractors in Ohio. Our experience ranges from small residential and arterial roadway paving to large warehouse paving and Ohio Turnpike paving.
Over the last 15 years, the construction industry has changed. State and local agencies have been compressing schedules, requiring more work to be done in less time, minimizing the impact to end users. Out of the need for better control of the quality and scheduling, in 2004 Complete General Construction started in the asphalt paving business.
Complete General Construction has been an industry leader in the concrete paving industry. For over 60 years, Complete General has been completing quality concrete projects throughout the Ohio market. Complete General self performs all aspects of concrete construction including curbs, sidewalks, decorative stamping, pavement, barrier wall, parapet walls, airport runways, and airport aprons.

I am very disappointed in my interactions with this company and their employee Al Tambini. I got a flat tire and bent rim from a pothole on a section of highway they were working on. They are so far refusing to take liability for this issue and are stating that images of the tire and a state highway patrol report is not sufficient proof of the incident. I am hoping they decide to do the right thing and reimburse me for the damage their negligence caused to my car.

Critical: Professionalism
Whoever was driving your company truck through Fairfield county into Hocking County on 33 today 6/17/2020 is a terrible driver! Speeding, more than 80 in a 70mph zone, tailgating and just rude. Might want to remind your employees that they're driving with YOUR company name on the side of the truck.

Storm damage during winter storm, siding blown off home. This contractor was recommended by Nationwide Insurance. Company contacted me & a representative (estimator) met me at the residence on the same day. Concerns about holes in outside wall where addressed & was told that due to weather (heavy snowfall) they would await better weather to cover these holes. Needless to say better weather came & went with no coverage of holes & water came into the walls, damaging inside walls & ceilings. Insurance company & contractors notified & was assured worker would come & cover openings. This was done that
