After a long Ohio winter, we're all ready for some sunshine and color in the landscape. Use a little caution when planting in March and April, while cold temps (especially at night) are still a threat. Plant cold tolerant potted bulbs, Pansies and Violas for early color. Though these are cold tolerant, protection from frosts and freezing will also keep these beauties from damage, too.

A large portion of those 35+ years have been in retail nursery and garden center management. I’ve been using Michael Todd’s Landscape Specialties for a number of years and think his services are top shelf. He does great work and his fees are very reasonable compared to other companies I’ve dealt with. He has billed me less than what his quotes were for on a few occasions. I think that’s to the type of person he is. I plan to stick with him and their services. Bottom line is that he keeps his word, does great work and it’s at the right price.
