First I've used them before and they were good
I had an appointment for today which I made several weeks ago
They even called to confirm.
I've been staying at our other house and specifically drove up for this appointment, appointment time came and no one showed called Rite Window and supposedly rep never got the appointment until this morning.
I might have been more tolerent of the mistake if he had been proactive and called instead of me hanging around and having to chase him down
Complete waste of my time three hour drive for nothing.

I needed a new sliding glass door replaced and called Rite Window, as I had used them a few years ago for windows. The door came in as promised and it was easy to set up the installation appointment. The guys showed up on time and prepared. A few minutes later 2 more guys showed up as their job was cancelled and figured they could help and get it done quicker. Who does that???
There was a slight issue as my original door was a bit different so they explained what needed to be done. I agreed and they got right to work. The door was replaced in no time and looks amazing.

We have had all our windows done by right window. They have a good warranty. I love the single dining room and bedroom windows. The first time we purchased they were fast to come out & put them in and I was so happy.
Our second purchase was to update our living room and so we went with the bay window. And I couldn't be more unhappy. Three stars is only because the back of the house windows look nice, if it was solely regarding this window it would be 2 stars. They are very delayed right now several weeks longer than quoted. I thought they did a good job on 3 out of the 4 windows I needed (for 6 grand mind you). These guys did not replace the window frame and just covered the rot up. Pictures attached. If I'm paying six grand for 4 windows I expect better than this. On top of that took forever to get the 4th window. First was mismeasured and then mismeasured again. Didn't offer to take anything off of the hefty price tag. Just expected to pay. Not cool.

We contacted Rite Window to get an estimate for windows. They would not do a contactless visit or accommodate us using FaceTime. Darnell the representative was indifferent and dismissive; he didn't care about making those accommodations for us. Ultimately, the process has to work for us the customer, therefore, we chose to hire a different company who understood and worked with our safety concerns.

They have been to my house 5 separate times already for only 1 window and 1 patio door and the job still is not done. The production managers changed over this past 4-month course of trying to get these window/doors done right, and there was no communication between them when the switch happened, causing more delays than necessary.
The only positive part of this experience was my sales guy Teddy who I met with when choosing a company was phenomenal, and he has even helped me through the frustration of multiple incompetencies, which is above and beyond his job of a sales specialist.

You've heard their commercials on the radio. They aren't the cheapest, and they will tell you that, but they also aren't the most expensive. I went with them knowing I would pay more instead of the other, cheaper window company I normally use because I promised Rite Window I would consider them the next time I needed windows as thanks for them handling a customer service issue. I kept my promise and used them to replace five larger-sized windows.

Excellent job on my windows. I refinished my basement so I can work at home during the pandemic. I found out that my turn-of-the-century windows were useless (19th century!). Throughout the winter it was unbearably cold. I hired Rite Window. The price was decent and they stayed in touch with me throughout the process. The installation was great. They replaced all the windows in just one morning and did a thorough cleanup. It did take a while to get them, and the cold weather is gone, but now I can open my basement windows and air it out because they have screens (couldn't do that before).

While I understand that there are hiccups trying to do work in the world of COVID-19, I respectfully suggest that communication with customers be greatly improved. Here's another update. After my previous Yelp update, I also filed a BBB complaint. I will say the company owner, Bill Wightman, became involved and was extremely concerned about my negative experience. He made several attempts to contact me, but due to my frustration, I ignored his calls. Mr. Wightman was persistant and I eventually spoke with him last week. He was genuine, apologized for the negative experience and offered to reimburse me for the window repair as well as all the aggravation I expereinced. I got quotes from three other window companies and Rite window had the best prices for five basement hopper windows. They also have a lifetime guarantee and 0% financing for 3 years. I was all ready to sign up with a different company and the communication was horrendous. We had problems with our storm door the way it was installed. In my opinion they purposely knew this was gonna be a problem but did it anyways. I asked them to come back out and we had a different set of installers who said that we would need a whole new storm door... two months later our storm door came. They came out and removed the old door before opening the packaging of the new door which was damaged. I now have no storm door and am told it will be another two weeks before I can get one. I will echo what many have previously posted. Everything is great until you hand over the deposit check and then the real chase begins. Delays, issues, late notifications, missing parts and everything else in between.

My husband and I purchased 10 windows through Rite Window. We had great experience with sales man it was nice to feel like we weren't just getting the run of the mill sales pitch. The product themselves are great, we noticed a different with the draft and noise level immediately! They really took their time installing and I believe this was a worthwhile investment.
