Authority heating and cooling has been the greatest for us! First my furnace stopped working last month, and they said they could send someone out, on a Sunday. I had called several companies, and they were the only one who was able to do that. They fixed my furnace for a very reasonable price. Then, today, when we're having a snowstorm, and it's in the 20s, my son calls and tells me that his furnace stopped working! Got a new HVAC system from them. They put in the wrong unit. Awaiting manager call back to resolve the issue. Appears unit was installed well- haven't died or exploded yet :/ They didn't really clean up after themselves, not even a broom. 0 stars for wrong unit. Average/ fair install. 2 Technicians one seemed more trained than the other... sadly the "other" was here more than the trained one.

Very pleasant person. Did a great job of cleaning my furnace and blower fan. Kept me informed of progress and made sure I was aware of the before and after cleaning. Adjusted gas pressure to proper setting and explained why it should be done and how the installer did what they did. Will definitely use again.

We had the complete system overhaul done on both of our furnaces. Dave was very professional, he was on time, he showed us all the different parts and then cleaned them. He even went the second mile and tightened a faucet handle when he noticed it was loose while cleaning. Our furnaces are getting older, one is 25 years old and we're starting to worry about it a little bit. While he let us know that it was nearing the end of its life, there was no high pressure sales tactics. We really appreciated it. Thank you, Dave, and Authority Heating and Cooling.

First, they installed a furnace and some ducting in my home previously. Each time there as a bit of a phone snafu but their workers were really great.
I had a problem with my furnace in February. They came and checked it out. I paid them a little money. At that time, I signed up for their "Club" membership. I shouldn't have. I incurred a lot of frustration. All of it with customer service.

Looking for a UV purifier upgrade to my HVAC system and a good clean up service. The appraiser gave great information and explained the cleaning is a much deeper and thorough service. The UV quote was way too high, but offered good information (I ended up pudding in a light myself for 8x LESS $) So why the 5 stairs? IT was for the Tech that came out to do the cleaning I decided to try (125$ for a one time). The tech (Nick?) worked for a very long time getting old paint out out of the blower, and so much more. Authority Heating and Cooling is an amazing company. My AC went out over the weekend and they were able to get a tech, Jeremy, out to my house Tuesday afternoon. Jeremy was so polite and professional. He took the time to make sure everything was running correctly. I live in a condo and the units outside weren’t marked as to which house number they belonged to. Jeremy was nice enough to label mine so I know for the future. Michelle was also great at keeping me updated on when Jeremy would arrive to my home. Thank you for the outstanding job!

Everyone at this company is super friendly. The will come at a minute's notice to help you and they will give you a great price. I highly recommend them.
My 9 year old AC unit went out at the beginning of June right at the start of a heat wave. I was referred to this company by my father-in-law. They sent over a guy that same night and he determined the compressor had gone bad and the whole unit needed to be replaced. I called the next day to schedule a replacement and the receptionist told me they were 2.5 weeks out because they were so booked, but then the president of the company personally

I hired Authority Heating and Cooling through my home warranty. I have made a few claims in the past and have had experiences with other HVAC contractors. Authority Heating and Cooling though, was especially unique. The contractor was very personable and courteous. Explained what he would be able to fix given my warranty. He honestly explained my home warranty to me better than my warranty brochure or the warranty customer service. I don't give 5 stars easily. But this one is well-deserved.
Technician, Nate, was on-time, personable and very knowledgeable. I'd asked them to come trouble-shoot a new HVAC system and Nest thermostat that had been provided/installed by another firm.
Nate accomplished all of what I was expecting. As a result, our new system is going to perform better than as-installed new.
I'm impressed with Nate's knowledge level.

Authority Heating & Cooling came to my home for a cleaning service twice. They came to clean the heating unit and discovered it had a cracked channel, which allows for the flames to escape from the channel and leap upwards reaching areas that could catch fire. I was so incredibly grateful for the technician’s ability to spot this… He did not charge me for a cleaning instead he offered to call my home insurance to alert them it needed to be replaced. I have had two issues with my furnaces both my rental and personal home. Both times Nate came out and took care of the issuers. With my rental I had to monitor Nate due my tenants, and Nate was so thorough going so far as finding future issues and correcting them before my ac unit would have died. My personal home my fan motor wasn't working and my mother board was sending weird codes, I let Nate in and went back to work. He came back and reported two concerns which I was expecting and said he was going to correct one to see if it fixes both problem before he charging us unnecessary fixes

After dealing with a horrible company we turned to Authority for our furnace. Marie and Anthony were fantastic to work with they went above and beyond to help us get a speedy and affordable resolution on our furnace. They were more than half the cost of the prior company's quotes and had absolutely no hidden made up fees! I don't give praise when it isn't due and I would highly recommend this company and will use them again for all my rental and personal home heating and ac needs!

The best company out there. Authority is the real deal. They know their stuff. They have the nicest technicians that are honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. They stay within my budget and get me the most energy efficient equipment out there. I will only use Authority for my heating and cooling needs.
