We have a second home in the Catskills and had just renovated our interior and were anxious to conquer the outdoor space. Through a recommendation we found our way to Todd’s firm THLD. We requested a design that evoked a sense of place, endemic to the Catskills. We entertain frequently, wanted a firepit, native landscape, privacy, seasonal interest, multiple areas to congregate, an inviting entrance to our property and functional paths. Todd’s firm created a low maintenance, fun landscape that complemented the design or our home. We are ecstatic with what THLD accomplished for us. Highly recommend

We engaged Todd Haiman Landscape Design to design and build our townhouse garden in midtown Manhattan. We had just finished our home/interior renovation and were looking to complete the exterior space. We researched quite a few different designers, but loved Todd's aesthetic and his honest approach. I’ve been working with Todd for over a year now. My terrace looks fabulous!! Moreover Todd has been super responsive and made himself available to answer questions and follow up. Todd's knowledge of landscape design and horticulture is thorough!! We were referred to his design practice by an architect friend. From our initial meeting we were so impressed with his knowledge. He led us through the design, building and installation process always keeping our needs first, offering creative yet functional and practical options along the way. The execution of the actual work by Todd and his subcontractors was superb and exceeded our expectations. After having done multiple home renovation projects, this has been the most stress free and fun.

BUYER BEWARE! Don't know where to start. He was nice in the beginning then after the job began and I started asking questions he became very sarcastic and was impossible to talk to. Most of the plants and flowers he planted died less then a week later! He does't answer our calls and are ready to seek counsel.

Todd Haimanhas been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. His design solutions addressed our needs and wants in ways we couldn't have imagined. He brought his own unique perspective to the project, but at the same time was very attentive to our own preferences.
