Our team of designers, stonemasons, horticulturists, irrigation and lighting technicians put an obsessive amount of thought and deliberation into every element of your landscape.

We've compiled this resource to help guide through the process of choosing various outdoor landscaping products. Everyone loves the stonework. Our circular sitting area was especially complex and the work was intensive, but it turned out more beautiful than we envisioned. A huge plus with Land Design is that the project leader is on site daily to guide the crew.
Your landscape deserves to be taken care of properly. That means having the knowledge and experience to keep trees and shrubs perfectly pruned, water features properly cleaned, stonework taken care of, flower beds blooming. For the last 28 years, we have built and maintained some of New England's most picture-perfect landscapes.

I had a very positive experience working with Land Design Associates. They removed all the overgrown trees in front of my house and designed and installed new landscaping. They also built me 2 raised garden beds and installed drip irrigation. The project was very collaborative. I was presented with 3 designs and worked with Jim to determine the plantings. Then Antonio and his crew came and installed all 100 plants in 2 days.
Everyone I worked with was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. They return phone calls, emails, and texts in a timely manner. I can't wait to see what my plantings

We are thrilled with our collaboration with Land Design Associates! Rebecca really listened to what was important to us in our Master Plan process and delivered a beautiful vision. They are also willing to break the work up into stages - so we went forward with a major renovation of the front garden that we have wanted for years. The crew tamed a difficult slope into terraces with steps and a new walkway leading from the the driveway to the front door. The crew was excellent - on time, hard-working, and professional. We had a wonderful experience with the crew at Land Design Associates. When we moved into our new house, Jim helped us design the landscaping, including a brick patio, always listening to our suggestions and offering his insight and expertise. The staff at Land Design Associates were excellent from planning all the way through implementations. They installed a beautiful patio with a stone wall and lighting in the back of our house that we use every night and will continue after the winter. Everyone from the administrators to the workers were very responsive and customer oriented. We feel confident that this was a great investment and the patio will last a very long time as it is such quality!

We finally had the excellent sense to contact Land Design Associates two years ago after stumbling to find suitable plants on our own. Our yard is challenged with lack of sun. Jim Egan, the owner, came out right away. This guy has expert knowledge of plants. He's extremely kind and down to earth. He's honest and up front. There's never been any surprises with cost or any delays with service. All of his colleagues are polite and hard working. Our yard has been transformed. Many landscape design firms will tell you they have the experience, tools, manpower, and flexibility to get your project done on time and on budget. Without input from people who hired them previously it's hard to tell which outfits have the skill, integrity, and professionalism to deliver on that promise. After reaching out to about 6 landscape company and receiving no response or got response but never got a quote, it was so nice to work with Land Design. I saw there sign in Brookline and decided to call not expecting even a call back. But not only did I get a call back but with no time got a visit from Jim. In no time I had a design and a budget. Both Jim and Robin were patient with me in my selection process. Super wonderful and easy to work with. The work was broken up into 2 projects. We hired Land Design Associates to consult and ultimately design/build the landscape for a new home in Milton. The leadership team and project manager were very responsive from the start of the project through completion. We asked Jim’s team to design a comprehensive one acre plan and then divide that plan in stages that we could implement moving forward. We absolutely loved working with Antonio, Jim, and their crew on the design and execution of our landscape project.
