The first time we turned on our heater this winter, it wasn’t blowing any warm air. We called another company, they came out and told us that our system was “dead” and would have to be replaced for $10K. I called North Air for a second opinion and I’m very glad I did. Turned out that our system was not dead we didn’t need the 5 parts that the other company had replaced trying to find the problem. Our problem was in fact VERY simple. A spider web was clogging a gas line. North Air saved me $10k that I would have spent on a new system.

We woke up to a house smelling like smoke. We couldn't find a fire but figured it was an electrical problem somewhere and called North Air that morning. Vigen came the same morning and immediately found the problem. He fixed it temporarily so we would be safe, then came the next morning with the right supplies to completely fix it.
Vigen is very knowledgeable, personable and super nice. He always kept me in the loop on what he was doing and gave us the price up front. I couldn't recommend North Air more!

Vigen and his team installed 2 brand new Trane HVAC systems. He helped us picked the units and they did a wonderful job! Vigen is responsive, easy to work with, and really knows what he's doing. We would highly recommend him! This summer is going to be the second summer since our new HVAC systems. The new units work great, we have had no issues and they've kept us comfortable at home.

I am so pleased I contacted North Air to take care of installing my new (Trane) HVAC system. The entire operation took only a day, and it even involved the assistance of a crane to hoist the condenser to its resting place.

I love this company. They were great from start to finish. Excellent in every way. The price, communication, installation and products were great. We have a 30 year old plus unit that ran out of coolant 3 years ago and Vigen showed up right way to fill it up . This time when the air was not cold anymore we knew we had to get a new unit. These guys are recommended through the Trane website so I scheduled an appointment for a quote. Per the website I made requests for two consecutive days in the 12am - 5pm block. I received a quick call back about my first slot and asked if they can do a time later in the block (I couldn't). So we settled on the second day. That day I received another call asking for a time outside of the block. I changed my schedule to accommodate them. No show. There's too many other providers out there to have to put up with that.

So I have been meaning to write a review for many years. We've been using Vigen for all our HVAC needs and he's fast, reliable and knows his stuff. He rebuilt the original system that wasn't installed well when we first renovated. Redid ducting and properly attached A/C unit to roof so it would stop its horrible vibrating. Insulated furnace. He properly vented our attic. Then he installed a mini split unit in our guest house. Works great. He also maintains our units. Couldn't recommend more!

My old HVAC condenser failed during the hottest week of July. I already know I wanted the Trane brand of HVAC products and I contacted North Air and worked with Vigen. I had a great experience! Vigen took great care of me and always returned calls as promised. North Air fit me into their busy schedule and in four hours, did a complete system replacement with a 16 SEER Trane system. I nice neat and clean install in a very short amount of time. I really want to thank Vigen for their professionalism, on-time arrival and a very clean installation. Our house was a 1950 house with no AC and no working furnace. We needed a complete removal of our 1983 HVAC unit and ductwork. We needed all new ducts, condenser, furnace, vents and returns. If it had to do with the HVAC, it needed replacement. I interviewed 3 companies and North Air had the best prices and the most attentive service. Vigen is on site with his guys for the entire install time. I decided to hang some curtains while they were there and Vigen saw me and brought out his drill to help me hang my curtains! Our furnace had gone out, failing to ignite. Once I figured out it was nothing as simple as a blown igniter, I started calling around. Vigen picked up the phone himself and was able to arrive in just two hours. He quickly diagnosed a failed circuit board, made some calls, and was able to locate a new old stock original. He arrived first thing the next morning to finish the job.
I had asked if it might be better just to replace the 25+ year-old system, giving him ample opportunity for an up-sell. But he said it was better to go ahead and repair; it still

My air conditioner was leaking. I called North Air and Vigen showed up within a half hour to fix it. I just moved to Burbank so this was my first time using North Air. You never know what you're going to get but the reviews I saw on Yelp and Google were accurate. Vigen is a very friendly, straightforward guy who tries to find solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective. He also replaced my air intake vent (which was a pain to open and change the filter) with a new easy-to-open vent with a hinge - see attached photo (marks on ceiling made by me, not him!). I could not recommend North Air enough! After realizing that our A/C was not working, North Air was the first company (out of a few that we called) that was able to come the same day. They were on time and assessed and resolved the situation quickly. My boyfriend and I greatly appreciated it, considering we still have 80 degree days in our SoCal winters.
In addition to repairing my A/C, they checked and serviced my heater to make sure it works properly when the random cold days show up.

Once again, Yelp has not let me down! I was having an issue with my 20 year old HVAC system and called North Air to have it checked out. Vigen gave me an appointment window between 2:30 pm and 4:30 p.m. because he was working on another job but he ended up calling me back and asked if he could arrive earlier (certainly not a problem at all for me). After he assessed the problem he presented me with a couple different options on how to correct the issue. This review is long overdue. Our heating unit stopped working without any warning signs. I looked up some business on yelp that could help us out and randomly picked North Air as a first one to call. Person on the phone sounded very professional and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Service person that showed up at the door immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it in less than hour.

So of all things that could possibly go wrong, except for possibly a sewer clog, our HVAC system stopped functioning today. Two days before Christmas! The last folks that serviced us did a terrible job and the "vice president" of the company came out to help us. Charged us $129.00 for five minutes work clearing out cobwebs from the furnace burners!

North Air assessed my residential system and said the "40-year-old inside coil" required replacement at a cost of $4000... My entire system (including the coil) is only fourteen years old!
Another company came out, did a pressure test, replaced a leaky check valve, and recharged my system. $350, and it's been running good-as-new for two months with no leakage. Needless to say, I have zero confidence in North Air.
