Whitworth Construction Group is the product of years of evolution in building techniques and technology. What began as a family business in 1975 as Whitworth Electric soon expanded into Whitworth Custom Homes in 1994. We have built homes and buildings across the DFW metroplex which also includes Southern Oklahoma.

Whitworth Custom Homes built our dream home this past year and we could not be happier. There was a lot of work and detail that went into the planning of our home. Mr. Whitworth was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful through the entire planning and construction process. Mr. Whitworth was available for us anytime we needed anything. We also enjoyed working with a family owned business and getting to know his wife, son and daughter. They were a huge help in the building process as well. I appreciate Mr. Whitworth making our dream home a possibility within our budget.

For anybody looking for a home builder, i highly recommend Whitworth Construction. I LOVE MY HOME!! My husband and I live in one of the Whitworth’s rent homes. It’s the most cozy, beautiful, and very well built home a couple could ask for! John and all his staff are very professional and up front with advice that will help you with your dream home. They listen to what you have to say and handle everything with a very positive attitude. I can honestly say THE BEST construction group in all of DFW. I will 100% use Whitworth construction when my husband and I start our forever home.

Whitworth Custom Homes built a music room onto my existing home. I am a violinist in Denton and needed a studio to teach my private violin students. This company was very professional and did a fantastic job. The work was completed ahead of schedule and I get so many compliments on this room. What I loved most about Mr. Whitworth is that he did not cut corners in his construction. He was very detail oriented and very thorough in every aspect of this job. I would highly recommend Whitworth Custom Homes and would definitely use this company again!

Whitworth Custome Homes built our home in 2002. They did an amazing job.
The owner, Mr. Jonathan Whitworth was professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful and very helpful in guiding us during the entire construction.
He was dedicated to making sure we got the home that we wanted and could afford. He even designed the hearth around our fireplace. It's one of a kind.

After moving to Sanger, TX we were in need of a custom guest house. John and his team were excellent every step of the way helping us to design and build the perfect guest home to fit our desires. They were dependable and reliable and we ended up with a perfectly sized guest house that my mother-in-law loves (and perfectly compliments our home)!! I would recommend John to anyone with building needs!

Our last two homes have been Whitworth Homes. The first was a ground up custom home with a three-car garage. After 12 years of problem free living in that home, we decided to move. The second Whitworth Home was a Farm House remodel. I guess I should say more than a remodel. John had to remove the interior, down to the concrete and wall studs. From there he meticulously rebuilt the home with full encapsulation, 20 SEER HVAC, new electrical and plumbing along with windows. You have to love an average electrical bill of $90.
