Owner Kirby Kilfoy started his career in the pool business after a short college stay. Working for a conctete pool company from Whitcha, Kansas. Being transfered to Kuwait with one other person in 1978. This set his mind to the pool industry, thus creating his drive to succeed. After working for some 5 different pool companies learning the pool trade he acheaved extended knowledge in all phases of pool construction and started Sweetwater in 1981.

Working with our designers you have options that include advancements like salt water pools and innovative L.E.D. or fiber optic lighting. Our company has the tools and the resources needed to design and construct a new in-ground pool or spa.
This one is in Mustang, Oklahoma and constructed in 2010 with stamped coping to match the pool. Building a great spa is Kirby's passion. We never use a blower on the jets. They are venturi only. We feel this allows the air action to enter the water and not bubble up on the coping, thus keeping the water in the spa.
Your pool constructed by Sweetwater Pools is equipped with a freeze guard to protect your pool during cold weather. It is designed to turn the pump or pumps on when the weather gets below a preset temperature. Moving water will not freeze in a pipe. However, you will need to take some precautions when we get a cold snap.

My pool was installed by a different company before I purchased the home. When that company had no advice for me regarding my current situation I turned to one of the best in buisness. I've seen the quality of work performed by Kirby and Sweetwater Pools in person and have always admired it. I called Kirby to ask his professional opinion of my pool's current situation He was very friendly and offered his professional opinion / advice over the phone which gave us options to check that we hadn't thought of. Sweetwater pools did an excellent job building our first pool. Kirby was helpful throughout the process, answering questions and following up after completion. Kirby obviously takes pride in the work of Sweetwater Pools and it shows both in quality construction as well as knowledgeable service. Additionally, it meant a lot to my family to be working directly with the builder from start to finish rather than with a salesman.

A great pool guy needs to be a chemist, a plumber, a tileman, a carpenter, a designer and a construstion enginer. Many don’t even own a pool themselfs. Well this guy is all that and more. He did a imposible tile job on my weird constructed pool with fiberglass sides and concrete bottom. Others said it could not be done. He turned my ugly duckling pool into a good looking pool. His advise is right on. This only comes from experiance which he has in spades. His plumbing work was vantastic as i hired him again to fix some leaks and install a clorinator. Last his prices are his best feature. Done
