The company's preliminary market was working as a General Contractor on the area's numerous military bases. Today, Whitesell-Green has over forty-five years of public/private construction and design-build contracting experience throughout the southeastern and mid-Atlantic United States. Bill Whitesell remains active in the daily operations while his family now owns and operates this closely-held family business.
Zero Injuries is Whitesell-Green, Inc. commitment to our employees. It means that we have put our resources, training, and leadership into practice. For WGI, safety isn't about meeting regulations or saving money, although thanks to our low accident rate, we pay significantly less in insurance premiums than other contractors.

I worked for whitesell-green for ten years,they are definitely a high end company that performs their work in a most outstanding, professional manner,I really can't say enough about everyone I knew and know from that time,except for a handful of superintendents I work with on projects,like Tony Dunn,Ed vaugh, Quintin Kemp,don Gavin,and a few more,also all the office staff, sherl, Beth whitsell,and others,were wonderful to be around,and definitely played a big part in the business,also I can't leave out Roy Shannon a real pistal in keeping things in line on and off the job a really good man and
