If you hire Del Conte's Landscaping your property or community will smell like exhaust for a while. The exhaust their leaf blowers spew out makes me feel terrible and it's not great for developing children. It doesn't help that they come at the break of dawn on Mondays either. We rent and they were hired by the HOA, so we don't have much say in the matter; they're definitely one of the reasons this is only going to be a one year lease for us.
If you hire them, make them upgrade their equipment to battery powered blowers.

Del Conte came to remove a large pepper tree from the property adjacent to my own.Del Conte landscape company did a great job! They started early, worked quickly, and even came over to clean up the debris that landed in my patio space. I am breathing a sigh of relief that the potential for harm to people and property has also been removed.

We've worked with Del Conte's on a new home in Menlo Park around 2015. They had a good-sized crew who worked hard and delivered quick
and attractive results. We were so impressed with their work that we recommended them to another client in 2018 for a major remodel in Los Altos. That project has worked out really nicely as well. My guess is that people are more quick to write bad reviews than good ones and that is too bad.

I live in a large complex in Dublin. Recently, we contracted with this landscape company to maintain/enhance our grounds. In all honesty, we were disappointed. For whatever reason, they either couldn't keep up, didn't have the right resources or they went through a rough patch. The intentions to do a good job were evident. But the results were less than acceptable.
I wish Del Conte the best and I'm sure they do well with other properties.

I don't know who hire this guys to do landscaping in my condo area. They can not even cut the grass right. They Leave bold spots on the grass because they never sharpen the blades on their grass cutters. They kill regular plants by spreading weed killer everywhere.They pull plants and trees that the owners of the condos plant and throw them in the garbage instead of saving them just to please the mob association that runs the place. And the worst is that they claim that they specialize in applying water saving techniques but instead waste great amounts of water on slug infested grass that

We hired DCL on a design-build project for our front-yard landscaping. The project included pavers for our driveway, redesign of the front-yard landscaping and walkways, installation of synthetic turf, installation of customer-provided fencing, and installation of a new irrigation system to support the design of drought-tolerant landscaping. The project went off without a hitch and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND DCL for any landscaping project.

They transformed our front yard which consisted of dirt and weeds into a very attractive low maintenance plant and and rock work piece. We were pleased with the design by Eric and the work crew was fast and efficient. They even did work for us that was over and above what the contract stipulated. We highly recommend them for their professionalism and will not hesitate to use them again for any future landscaping needs.

Eric gave us a nicely thought out design based on our needs. The amount of work done and the cost was a lot less than the other two companies we got estimates for. Their work team implemented Eric's design and when we wanted some changes, they were accommodated without incident. The team was very efficient and professional. The yard was cleaned up every day before they left. Our yard is now updated and we feel it will enhance our property value if we ever decide to sell. Everything worked out perfectly for us. We highly recommend this company.

I live in Redwood City. Del Conte's Landscaping did an extensive landscape project for both my front and rear yard ($75K+) in 2010. I worked with Eric Hagberg on the design. The final design went far beyond my expectations, incorporating my ideas with some of his. The gentlemen working for Del Conte were professional, hardworking, and pleasant. This project took months, yet each day, they were prompt, cleaned up as much as possible. They were a hardworking team! My yard is now a showplace. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors.

They did great design, but that was all. Their implimentation was okay. But once we wrote the check, they were done with us. The sprinkler system they installed is messed up. The plants the planted are all dying. We asked them 3 times to come out and tell us what was wrong. I wanted to know if we were doing anything wrong to maintain everything. I will never use them again. We spent over $14k on our back yard and we need have alot of it redone. They actually called me a week ago asking for a design fee of $500 that they think was never collected. I told them they were crazy. If they want that fee

I have to say that it all started out just fine. one of the designers came to look at the property and gave an estimate. i had four landscaping people look at my property and delmonte's folks followed up quickly.
i had my own ideas and he let me run with it without pressuring me to pay for design services. but he showed me some of his work and i decided that i would use them to design part of my backyard and front lawn.
there was a follow up and they returned to measure the space. i decided to go with them because they were the first to get back to me. we divided the work into four phases
