Our toilet was leaking & the plumber replaced the flange. He charged us $200, but didn't provide us with a receipt. The toilet continued to leak & made quite a bit of damage to our living room ceiling. I contacted the company & the person I spoke to identified himself as Luis Trujillo, the owner. He said he had no record of any work done to my home. He wanted a copy of my receipt, which I explained I didn't have. After quite a bit of back & forth conversation, he agreed to come take a look at the toilet. It turned out that the flange had been installed incorrectly

I would steer clear of this company. What their $820 hydro jetting service couldn’t do to unclog a kitchen drain and giving up after a couple of minutes took me a $20 snake from Home Depot and an hour of my time to fix the issue myself! I highly highly advise anyone wanting to do business with this company to get another opinion first.

Megarooter plumbing is awesome. I highly recommend using them when you have some plumbing issues. I had some crazy roots growing into my main pipe and they were fast did their job and were very reasonable in pricing. Tony was an awesome technician that came diagnosed the problem and worked on the repair and Luis came with some amazing technology that actually located the spot that was causing issues.

We're very happy with our experience with these guys. The kitchen sink blocked up, on a Saturday, of course, and they arrived within a couple of hours. They had a partial fix that day but warned us that our 70-year old cast iron drains were in terminal condition and would need major intervention. They came back Monday and spent about five days on the job, even working through Tkaanksgiving day. The cost was high but, I think, appropriate for the size of the job.

My grandmother needed a new toilet (or so we were told), and they literally charged us $900 to install it. They didn't have one that fit and they decided to go to home depot to pick one up. The toilet was $60 but you are charging me nearly $900. Then they couldn't finish on the first day and told us they would return tomorrow. They came the following day at 7pm. Way over priced and took advantage of our lack of knowledge. Won't use them again. They should do the right thing and offer me back about $400 or half of what they charged me. But I'm sure they won't.

Returned for a short trip and while taking shower and washer going, water began to back up into shower - Eeks! Called several plumbing outfits, and first to have a tech available same day was Mega Rooter Plumbing. They had a special price for drain cleaning and sent tech within 2 hrs. Eric arrived had mask on and put on foot coverings and toured houses plumbing situation. He tried the only cleanout located outside, but couldn't reach the plug-up. All my cleanout accesses near the plug up have been made inaccessable due to remodels over the decades. Last resort was to lift toilet near

Called yesterday and spoke to someone, I was told it would be a free estimate to see the cause of the leak. However, when the inspector came out, he said that a leak detection is $150, he would only open the water to see where the leak is coming from. I told him I was told it was a free estimate, declined the request. What bothered me the most is his attitude towards when he was leaving, he sarcastically said "yeah this is the hardest job of the day" with a huge attitude. Even if I was thinking to call back and use the company, guess what? Not again at all. Really bad attitudes given

Miguel and Mega Rooter again have saved the day! Due to the flooding in my condo (see previous review), we discovered that the master bathroom shower drain pipe was extremely corroded and at risk of a major leak. It was a ticking time bomb and the owner of the unit right below me requested that I replace the pipe, something that homeowner insurance wouldn't cover at this time. I was happy to do it but also nervous of the cost and scope of the work required. Mega Rooter replaced my old cast iron sewer pipes, and overall I was pleased with their work. They were pleasant, easy to schedule with and showed up on time. However, I do have a few concerns:
1. On the day the project was originally set to begin, they showed up to start work without securing a permit first. Replacing pipes requires a city permit, and had I not asked about it I'm not sure it would have been done. This delayed the project for over a month while we waited on the paperwork.

Miguel and Daniel have been to my house for multiple repairs. They came to my house within an hour notice to assist me when I had an urgent problem at 7pm! They always arrive on time and finish the job in a timely manner, and are always profesional and courteous whenever they arrive.

I called them in the morning to set up an appointment to help me with a tough clog in my bathroom sink that's been bugging me for awhile. It finally got to a point to where it would take all day for the water to drain. No amount of Draino would get rid of the cause, and I was unable to get a 25 foot hand snake that I bought through where I needed it to go.

We had a leak somewhere that resulted in an $800 surprise water bill. We called Mega Rooter for their leak detection & repair services. Turns out it was the toilet tank assembly. The guy that first showed up seemed personable, knowledgeable and fixed the assembly quickly.
Within a few days, the toilet assembly stopped working. We called them to come back and that's when the horribly unprofessional behavior started.
First they said they'd be here Monday night between 6 & 7pm. At 7:45 we had to call them and they called us back to say they couldn't make it. UGH!

Never had to deal with a plumbing service before but today I tried snaking a drain and it just wasn't working out. Jesus and Luis came in and treated it like it was their own home. Since the problem was so bad it took a few hours all the way into the dark but they stayed and made sure the job was finished. Honestly, some of the best and most professional service I've ever had 10/10 recommend! And they left everything spotless!

We had our sewer back up into the shower on the Saturday after Christmas. They estimated it would be about 4 hours before they could get here, but they were at my house within the hour. Miguel quickly found the issue and resolved it that same evening. He was able to use a camera to find it and showed me what was wrong. I am a real estate agent who has remodeled over 50 properties in San Diego and have worked with contractors & vendors all over. I was so impressed by how quickly the came out to snake the drain that was clogged by drywall mud from the construction.
