When Charles Kelly and Niles Hill were engineers for the Burlington-Northern Railroad, they saw a need for a private contractor who could build, maintain and repair spur tracks from private owners up to the railroad's right-of-way. To serve that need, they created Kelly-Hill Company in 1955, and dedicated themselves to providing quality workmanship and superior service to clients.
Kelly-Hill Company's certified staff has the experience and expertise in the installation, adjustment, maintenance and inspection of CWR constructed track. Our team understands the importance of the correct installation and maintaining written procedures in compliance to FRA regulations. Kelly-Hill Company has the tools and equipment to get the job done in the most efficient way.
Maintaining track at your facility is imperative in preventing derailments, which cause service outages and the inability to ship your product on schedule. Kelly-Hill Company has been repairing and maintaining track since its inception. Our crews are experienced in track inspection and completing the necessary track improvements.
When a bridge deck needs to be replaced you need it done as soon as possible to reduce the amount of time a line is out-of-service. Kelly-Hill Company has the experience, tools and materials necessary to replace any deck of a timber, concrete or steel railroad bridge. Our crews have up-to-date eRailsafe and Roadway Worker Protection certifications.
Facilities served by rail often need assistance assembling, disassembling and moving cars around their sites. Kelly-Hill Company offers comprehensive switching operations onsite with our Shuttle Wagon 3500 switcher and have provided this service for more than 12 years. We provide FRA-certified crews that stay at your site permanently and switch cars throughout your facility.
