To improve the look of your carpet. Let's start with the most obvious reason to clean your carpet: so that it looks clean. Vacuuming at least once a week is a great way to remove all of the dirt, debris, bits, and bobs that build up on your carpet as the days and weeks pass by. You'll appreciate coming home to a clean house, and you won't be embarrassed by your dirty carpets when a friend stops by spur of the moment.
2. To improve the smell of your carpet. Another obvious reason to clean your carpet is to improve upon its olfactory impact (that is to say, its smell). Carpets attract all sorts of unwanted things (dirt, crumbs, dust, pet fur, grime, etc.), and sometimes they're the site of unfortunate accidents (vomit, urine, etc).
These items can be quite smelly and when they build up over time, your carpet can become unforgivably smelly. Routine cleanings are important, but don't forget to also steam clean occasionally if you want your carpet to smell fresh and pleasant. 3. To prevent your carpets from harming your health.

Please beware! Stolen property....... I contacted this company regarding carpet cleaning. I hired them to clean my area rug, which the company picked up form my home and never returned the rug. I have called and left several messages to retrieve my rug, only to get no response from the company. It's been two weeks today with no response. I had to spend extra money to replace the rug with a new one.

Saw Groupon ad listed for this company under mcm. $69 for three rooms quickly increased 30%.
Wanted to inspect my 2 yr old carpet that gets cleaned every 6 months.
Said it would cost more if I wanted shampoo. Shampoo is the actual cleaning solution used in steam cleaners.
Charged $10 credit card processing fee.
1/2 hour work equates to well over $200 an hour for their service.
Receipt showed simply a price.

Had a horrible experience with this business. Set up an appointment to have a recliner cleaned and was given a three hour time frame for arrival (12-3pm). The day of the appointment I called at 1210 to see if I could get a better time for arrival. I spoke to a female employee "Mari" who was not only extremely rude but was also a liar. I was told that everyone was gone for the day and that because I didn't answer the phone that morning when they tried calling me, my appointment was therefore cancelled. So if I hadn't called nobody would have even let me know and I would have

Horrible Service. I agree with all the posts ... Scheduled for an 830 am appointment ... Called several times through the morning and they finally showed after 11 am. They tried to tell me they told me between 830 and 1030 when I called which was completely untrue because I told them I had a 10 am appointment and had to leave at 930 and would never have booked because they told me the service would take an hour. Then when they got here I got a quote of $600 for an ad I called in for 5 rooms for $85. The guy was not happy and went to $400 and then $200. He wanted to do a deep cleaning on my

Do urself a favor and DO NOT fall for this scam. The advertisement is completely false. The company shows up to your door and says " you need a deep cleaning." They do not honor their advertisement...Save yourself time and money. Do not call this unprofessional business. I'm soo disappointed and wish that I would have read the reviews listed on Yelp. The company seems very professional on the add, but they are nothing close to it.
Stay away! You will be glad you did.

The last 2 reviews were very accurate. They used the classic "bait and switch" tactic. I called the service from a Riverside clipper magazine which advertised 3 rooms for $45 and called them to confirm pricing. 2 men came in (a 3rd inside the van) and were not in uniform. I had a really bad stain on my carpet (vomit) which was in need for cleaning and deodorizing. After showing them the vomit stain, one of the men re-quoted me for $395 for only 1 room! I told them that I could not afford that pricing so they gave me 5 minutes to rethink my decision. I later told them no and right

We just had CD Carpet Care come to clean our carpets. What a huge, huge, mistake. As a former reviewer said, what they advertise in their flyer is total a misrepresentation of services provided; they will use the "bait and switch" sell and tell you the carpet needs deep cleaning and moving the cost from $84.50 to $175.00 (2 partial rooms for deep cleaning). When we said no, they finished the job. Summarizing the work they did do: it appeared they used hot water (may or may not included any additives) and were done in 30 minutes. The ad covers 5 rooms, up to 600 square feet. 30
