Johnny Dugas and his team with Shifflett Exteriors replaced my entire roof due to damage from Category 4 Hurricane Ida. They did an excellent job replacing both the shingled and flat roof additions (with necessary flashing placement and siding replacement) to my Uptown Victorian. Mr. Dugas was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and prompt. He and his team were also very thoughtful and considerate of my neighbors who live in close proximity. Beware! Gave me an estimate for a replacement roof and told me 7/10 days. After that time frame had come and gone, I called to find out the status and they tell me it would cost twice as much! Which is 2x more than any of the other estimates I got from other companies. Complete waste of time as they were already way behind schedule. Will be looking for a new, trustworthy roofing company who does not take advantage of people during a devasting hurricane.

I found a leak in the torch down rolled roof over our rear gallery. Found Shifflett Roofing on Google and was impressed by the reviews. Tim answered when I called and told me he was in the area. He stopped by a short time later and looked at our roof. Tim said he could fix it but he also recommended a new TPO roof as it would last longer and hold up better in hurricanes. He gave me a link on TPO roofs so I could do some research. I did and thought it would be a good investment.
We agreed on price and Tim had his guys come out 3 days later. They started early in the morning and finished around

Shifflett Roofing repaired my back roof, and many years later replaced my entire roof after a tornado hit my house.
My back roof had been a problem for years. Roof was almost flat with 5 large skylights. From when it was first built, it started leaking around skylights. Over many years roofing companies tried to repair it without success. It was very stressful not being able to have it fixed for any length of time. Then Shifflett repaired it (a friend recommended Shifflett), and it never leaked again! I was amazed and so grateful.
Later, in July 2019, Shifflett Roofing replaced my entire roof

I called Shifflett with an active roof leak during some bad weather. We worked up a plan and they were on site within days and completed a full roof replacement including a detached garage in one day, with some minor painting done on a second day. Quality of work was phenomenal and I could get John on the phone any time of day to talk about the job. He was extremely transparent and easy to talk to as well.

EDIT: After leaving the review below the owner's brother reached out to me to share that news of serious illness preventing him from doing any roofing work right now. I am editing this on 4/6/21. Hopefully the owner makes a recovery and they are able to move forward with the family business. I appreciated the phone call and grace showed during the call and whenever we do the full replacement I would certainly reach out to them again for a bid if they're still around.

I used this company for a total roof replacement. From day one, Tim was extremely professional and did a very thorough inspection. They began work pretty quickly and finished faster than I expected. The quality was fantastic, and the problems that I had with the old roof have been completely solved. I not only recommend him to anyone reading this, I have recommended him to 3 other friends and neighbors who had the same wonderful experience with this company. Shifflett roofing was great. They came right away and gave us a good quote and recommended the correct materials for our older home. The house has a section with a very steep pitch and also some flat or nearly flat areas and the experts explained what would work best for our situation. We were provided with color samples and even some addresses where we could look at the finished job, so we could choose the shingles we liked best. The service and work crew were fast and courteous, they cleaned up and were done in 1.5 days. They took care of us from start to finish. We highly recommend Shifflett

I had them over to look at repairing the flashing on a couple of chimneys on my new house. Tim gave a very fair price and kindly pointed out some SERIOUS problems that the home inspector skipped over...mainly that someone had put “paint on a pig” to make my back roof look nice when it was actually leaking and almost ready to collapse. It would have been a disaster.
Tim’s crew got right to fixing it, installed some nice attic vents and cleaned up all the mess (a key element, if you ask me
