Before launching Sun City Mechanical in 2003, Gary Ferguson worked at a bakery in downtown Phoenix, along with his three brothers. When the bakery closed, he retrained in the areas of air conditioning and plumbing. Long story short! I purchased the house that I gutted and remodeled in 2018. The only thing I didn't replace was the 20 year old Trane AC unit only after two professionals informed me that they don't make them that way anymore to include Trane. Don't fix it if it's not broke. 3 years later it's still working but showing signs that it may leave me out in the cold or heat if you know what I mean. With that being said I got five estimate. The estimates below are the same unit tonnage and sear. $13,644, $14,138, $14,500, $16,000 with very aggressive sales guy. Sun City mechanical

I called Sun City in a pinch last week on one of my rental properties. Manny was totally awesome and corrected my problem with an outstanding attitude. He explained in detail what the issue was and what the resolution was. You could tell he is a consummate professional. I've saved Sun City's phone number for future use. I can't say enough good things about this company! Every tech that has come out over the last couple of years to service our commercial a/c has been honest, friendly, and professional. We have used Sun City Mechanical for a the past few years for both ac and plumbing needs. We have never had a bad experience! The service providers are courteous, professional, and clean (which you don’t always find in the middle of a Phoenix summer!) The service providers make sure we understand the work they perform. Moved into our new townhome to discover the air conditioner not cooling. Called Sun City Mechanical. Kyle was great telling us of repairs or replacement. The very next day the crew showed up to install a new air conditioner in 116 degree weather! Everyone of them were fantastic, professional and did a great job. Even fixed our toilet seal. The hot water tank was a job as it was 21 years old and heavy with sediment. Excellent Work! Thank You all

This was the previous post, however I am adding to it. Sun City Mechanical made me very happy again this morning. Sergio, the plumber drained my water heater, checked all plumbing in the house. Sinks good shower good etc. Glenn also arrived a little later --he is the AC tech. He tested all my air-conditioner equipment so yes I am ready because here comes 110° weather soon. Thanks to you all at Sun City mechanical. Thank you for always your assistance and help----Sun City Mechanical. Very happy with this company. I don't really know how many stars to put here. We requested a quote for a Mitsubishi mini-split for our garage. Electrical ready to go. They quoted a different inferior unit so we called them back and asked for the Mitsubishi quote. It was hard enough to get the first quote and of course they said "sorry thought he had already given you the quote". Well it's been two months now and no call, no quote. So as far as stars, maybe it should be ZERO since they don't care if they have a new customer. Guess they just don't need the money. They are off our list.

WOW! An honest contractor. We were in a hurt, because our water heater quit working while we were away. I couldn't get the pilot light lit following the instructions as printed on the unit. Had a friend stop by and he had no luck. Call my Nieghbor and he said I've used these guys for years and have always been satisfied. So, I call them and told them my problem. The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful in making sure they got someone out here today. They gave me a reasonable time frame and even called prior to getting here. Buyer beware!!!! They sold us a 4tion Rudd four years ago and we've been miserable ever since! We've had them out to check for problems and one of their service men actually told me that they don't operate as well as they do after the first year. And we spent 5k with them!!!
They recommended a product, we bought it & now we're stuck. Our only option is to buy a NEW 5ton unit or put up one of those 1 ton wall mounted units downstairs.
