The company started as a general contracting firm which specialized in custom home building and concrete work. Wayne eventually moved the company into the commercial building and site preparation arena as well as subdivision development. In 1982 Wayne brought WDGC to Alaska and based the operation in Kotzebue, AK.

DCI initially started the marine division to haul aggregates within the region to support our projects. Over 20 years later it has grown to not only support our efforts within the Northwest Arctic Borough but has helped numerous customers with equipment, materials, and other freight needs to nearly every village in the region.

Drake's Camp offers all of the necessary amenities and has a "home-like" atmosphere with a common living room, kitchen and dining room.
