We are licensed to use commercial grade herbicides and pesticides. You can go to Home Depot and try to figure out what your lawn needs but our experts can look at your lawn and identify what it needs. Your soil supplies some of the nutrients that turfgrass utilizes but most soils need amending to promote a healthy thriving lawn space.
Proper lawn care can be a time consuming and expensive task that dominates your free time on weekends and/or after work. Absolute rudest workers I have ever dealt with. They are doing work in our sub and planted a dead tree in my front yard “per the builder”. When I tried asking about it, they were extremely rude, disrespectful, and yelled that I needed to take it up with the builder. If the builder contracted to plant trees, I’m not sure why I wouldn’t be able to speak to Crooked Tree about the dead tree they’re currently planting.

The people they have doing their landscaping are awful. It seems as though they literally have no idea what they are doing. In a feeble attempt at grading my yard and putting down sod they 1) ran over/cut the fiber optic cable going to my house not once but twice (it was marked with wooden stakes and orange spray paint), 2) ripped grounding stake and attaching wire out of the ground. This was attached to our siding so some of that came with it, (3) ruined/lost 2 downspouts (one of which I watched one of their workers throw into my neighbor’s yard because he was frustrated). TRUST ME DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Their landscaping services are absolutely terrible. I don't even know where to begin. They are doing a lot of work in a new development that we recently moved into and they literally have half our neighborhood upset with them. Their workers are not competent. The started installing irrigation systems in yards that they weren't supposed to and then they just left the half installed piping in place. The sod jobs they did look atrocious mainly because they failed to ensure that the sprinklers actually watered the grass and then never bothered to correct the issue

When we 1st started with Crooked tree ( one year ago) I clicked with our designer. Our intent was re doing our entire backyard and making it our Oasis. She left and they assigned another. She was new so not very knowledgeable ( worked in the nursery than made her a designer). We are in an established neighborhood so I was really looking forward to the "Wow" factor. Not impressed at all.
Fast forward to spring. We had plans that died they said they would replace and I didn't like our landscaping.. i understand the pandemic but I felt they blew us off with our concerns. We finally get Kyle to come

Crooked Tree put in my irrigation and my lawn at my new home. I have attached pictures of my rock infested, weed infested and starved lawn. I spent over $1,000 the first summer watering my lawn and about that much the second summer. I have hired Smith Tree in the third year (a recommendation from a kind neighbor with a beautiful lawn) and they are doing an amazing job repairing the damage done by Crooked Tree.
